Hello just wondering what the cost would be on Oleksiak and what the Kraken are wanting in terms of players and picks.
Kraken are looking for prospects that we can plug in to the roster in a year or two. But I do not think Oleksiak will cost much or be able to garner back anything more than a B- prospect.Hello just wondering what the cost would be on Oleksiak and what the Kraken are wanting in terms of players and picks.

If he does get traded, I am guessing it will be for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Atleast most Kraken fans don't value him very high. Can't say what the GM's think about a big D-man though. The TDL and FA are two times in the year the GM's go a little cuckoo.

I certainly think so. At the end of the day it will come down to how many players Francis moves. He will likely retain on Gourde and Tanev. Maybe Oleksiak too. Isn't there a limit on how many players can be retained on?Do you think the Kraken would be open to retaining on Oleksiak? This would bring in a higher return. Or do you think they would rather trade him at a lower cost but moving on from his full contract?

He can play both sides, though he hasn't done that a lot in Seattle.Does he play his off side at all? Is he ever on the right side?

Logan Stanley is their man!!!!I actually think he might be a Leaf target.
We know they want a depth D since Hakanpaa likely never plays again.
And we know Treliving wants a 6"7 230+ pound D man because he signed Hakanpaa
I know the GM has changed since the Jake McCabe trade, but maybe the Leafs deal significant futures for a heavily retained Oleksiak?
As a neutral fan, I think that trade was slick work.
Honestly didn’t even know he was still in the league. Thought he retired like 3 years ago.Hello just wondering what the cost would be on Oleksiak and what the Kraken are wanting in terms of players and picks.

I don't think they would deal what they did for McCabe.
#1 McCabe came with a forward.
#2 McCabe had more term
#3 even at 50% retain Olesiak would still be 300k more expensive then McCabe was.
#4 McCabe is a better player.
#5 different GM
If it was Gourde and Olesiak maybe.
Not Olesiak alone
