Yep, the pattern was predicted a year ago, happened very similarly almost everywhere regardless of restrictions. Like every other pandemic.

I’ve worked for a family owned manufacturing business for over a decade, I have a mortgage and dependents.

Nice of you to make assumptions, though. I’m paying for this pandemic more than you know, but I always realize it’s not all about me.

Have you google how symptoms work and how a mask works yet? Or are you still too busy browsing the 1776 Facebook groups?
 
I wear a mask, don’t socialize much right now, as I am trying to do my part.

However, I think the whole thing has been mishandled.

kids should have stayed in school, played their sports etc. Kids don’t develop symptoms and their is no real proof they are responsible for spread. Even so, it’s my responsibility as a parent to ensure they don’t interact with at risk people. The fallout from this is going to change a lot of these younger kids, and not for the best.

Restaurants and small businesses should have been open throughout with strict restrictions in place.

I am not an anti vaxxer as I keep mine up to date, but I will not be lining up for this one. That will probably change if it restricts me from travelling etc.

There is no right or wrong in this equation. The whole scenario is messed up and the ones responsible have not made it any clearer

You completely ignored the fact you were spewing out false information.

I could make the same argument FOR Miami over Ottawa or Hamilton then. They get tons of international flights whereas the others don't.
You contradict yourself continuously.

Children aged 10-19 are the prime victims in Belgium which just caused them to lockdown. Children are absolutely affected.

Every govt entity in socialist Canada has increased immigration and proportionately reduced healthcare for past 50 years ... yes it started with Trudeau sr lib and Davis cons and it is where it is now ... does not matter liberal or conservative in Canada they are both same socialist ... but Mulroney was da moron who sold Connaught to French for sure ... it has been a collective screw over of healthcare by these clowns ... that is why I am all for a return to buy your own healthcare insurance and have govt get out of a business they clearly do not care about or support properly

I have had no problems getting good Heath care in Canada. Have you seen what people pay in the States? $8000 for a 2 hour visit and an epi pen? 200k for an animal bite?

I don’t think the wealthy deserve to have a higher tier of care, personally.

Our system is and will never be perfect. It’s pretty darn good, though. The corruption is ripe, and needs to be handled but the top levels of government are too influenced by the mob. Ontario more than anywhere else in Canada.

Is it the same as a 117 million to zero ratio?

What specifically was false? You said that population density was the MAIN factor in spread and I asked how so? I stated that there are 5 cities with higher population in Ontario that Miami which is true. You ask why is there a difference in infection rate , I outlined international travel, which is true. Nothing I said was false.

You do realize that people living South Dakota drive/bus/fly to places like Minneapolis, Des Moines and Omaha for international flights?

I do believe he was talking about we have never used an Mrna vaccine before on mass scale.

He does make it pretty clear he is no anti vaccine. He worked with Gates' team making and distributing vaccines for awhile.

I have read quite a bit of responses to his letter, and no one has been able to disprove his theory. They all just say "the evidence we have right now doesn't lead us to believe this is plausible"

I hope his theory is wrong

Yeah, it's pretty easy to allocate funds to "good" healthcare programs when you fail to adequately defend yourself and rely on another country to do it for you.
It's also easy to rely on that same country for almost 100% of medical advances in medicines, techniques and equipment that you implement in your own system.
Besides all that, denying people the right to choose private healthcare - denying people their own fate on their possible life and death should they desire - is immoral (as are most things associated with socialism).

Wow, I don’t think I will reply to this as it really stretches the limits of being related to the thread.

I will just say that I doubt you and I will ever see eye to eye, and I am proud of that fact.

How ignorant can a person be? Instead of listing it all Over a Century of Innovation - Innovative Medicines Canada

Picking and choosing who lives and who dies based on their financial abilities is immoral. Health care for profit is immoral.
