Build through the draft aka just like the Red Sox

Two kids that will become super studs!!

CAL Foote - son of Adam Foote
KOLE Lind - top 15 scorer just turned 18

Both play for the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL

Drafting bloodlines, something the Bruins never do..dumbbbb

Ryan Donato says "hi"

WIsh we would have grabbed Tkachuk last year

I think we have family playing at Harvard , BC , Providence B's :amazed: Maybe there will not be "super studs" but what the heck.

If Bruins trade Carlo and a decent defenseman coming back, that's a problem.

If you compound that by firing Claude, you better hope you get some serious goal scoring coming on board cause that defense without Claude's system is gonna be some kind of ugly.

I think it is definitely based on return, but overall I think it's Neely that needs to go first. Depending on how it looks after the trade deadline maybe Sweeney should be head scout and we find someone who can actually negotiate while he just finds the talent in the draft (assuming his picks pan out and it wasn't all Gretzky's work)

I'm still bitter management passed on Kyle Connor, Barzal, etc. that year where they had three consecutive picks. but the talent he drafted seems passable thus far so I can't berate them too much for that.

A lot of us agree that a team should be built from the back out and this team isn't going anywhere as they are now. They need to rebuild and Carlo is a top 4 D and part of the solution to the Bruins problems. Getting Landeskog would be great but then their D is a joke.

THIS TEAM IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE THIS YEAR. Do not make trades unless they address the future and the weakest part of the team is the D.

Look Carlo looks like a very nice prospect but he's certainly not a can't miss. ..in fact he might very well be 50/50 as far as can't miss to miss. ..
do I trade him for GL...no way
Why? ,, because GL although a good young lwinger isn't going to make this team all that much better. ..no thanks. .. I'll take my chances on Carlo and hopefully if he does become a dandy by then the Bruins will be a contender (I'm not hopeful but you never know)
