Ok, ConnorMcJesus, I'll take your word on that and try to be more objective.
Here is my first quote in this thread and have not changed my opinion. Other than responding to posters who want to bring up Crosby or continue to claim McDavid is the best player in the world, how am I marginalizing McDavid?
Might be an idea to stop quoting the posters and bringing up Crosby stats from years past then. I see that you've referenced your first quote a couple of times here in this thread to various posters. It's also very safe to say (based on the small sample size of this thread ), that you are #1 in regards to posters with the most posts at 32.
Nonetheless, although you haven't specifically "trivialized" McDavid, it certainly seems to be a small part of your agenda. I've noted your posts in other threads on the McDavid vs Crosby subject, and although I understand why you are doing it (because of the consistency of other posters doing the same thing in different markets), it doesn't bely the fact that your posting habits have fallen into the area of trivializing. You don't have to specifically say something about a certain player to make to trivialize. The constant comparison to Crosby's past does the same thing .
That's my opinion only, not other Oiler fans.
Vlasic didn't shut Crosby down, Jones did. If not for his goaltending that series is a 4 game sweep. The real Stanley Cup Finals happened in the 2nd round vs the Capitals.
If I understand correctly, presenting any argument that does not support McDavid as the best player in the world is "trivializing" him?
McDavid was incredible in the first tonight, but again failed to get a point.

he had like 5-6 point blank opportunity's. eventually it will fall into place.
I love McDavid on the backcheck. So sexy
I mentioned this in the Ducks-Oilers GDT but what has popped out to me this playoffs is the amount of abuse teams get away with in trying to stifle his speedy rushes. It's exactly the opposite of the star treatment cliche. Kind of reminds me of the tactics teams get away with in trying to contain Gronkowski in the NFL. Goes even beyond the increased leniency towards physical play and specifically interference that you normally see in the playoffs.
I know how is a shadowing if your are grabbing and slashing him up and down the ice? makes no god damn sense. that's not good defense. that's just penalties not called because its thevplayoffs and he's only 20. eventually it was even out.
