Same name as a famous businessman in Quebec (cofounder of Stingray).

His brother Mathieu is starting at Penn State next Fall and there are talks Alexandre might also choose the NCAA.

He fell from the 1st to the 7th round to Quebec, probably due to NCAA.

Quebec has had sucess in the past with 7th round picks from Lac St-Louis (Malatesta).

Taillefer will be at the Remparts camp.

He will participate in this morning's pre-game workout that will begin at 11 a.m. on the ice at the Videotron Centre and will play his first game in the Quebec junior circuit tonight, as the Remparts host the Rimouski Oceanic starting at 7 p.m. Until the holiday break, Taillefer will be able to play a maximum of 10 games in the team uniform as an affiliated player. When he returns from the break on December 27, he will join the team for the remainder of the season.

The Remparts have 10 games until the break so he should play all of them even if he’s still considered as an affiliated player.
