Well to be fair to these people, Luke got his entire hand replaced and was back at full force pretty quickly.
I don't think he will be back until Feb 1st.
He is skating and shooting. For the first time in what, 2 months? It'll take him at least 2-3 weeks to get back into shape then at least a week skating with the team till he is game shape.

Was hoping to see him on Jan 8 when I'm going to the Tampa Bay game but I guess I knew he'd likely be out when I blew my money on those tix. Wow, the way they're playing, I almost wish I had saved it for this year.
Guys I heard this on Gregors show but he said McDavid is joining the team in a no contact jersey to join practices and will be back in 10-12 days? Klef another week and Kassian would join the team in 10 days or 10 games im not sure i think its 10 days.

so Mid january as predicted. I am guessing they would want to start him off on road so Jan 14th. 10-12 days takes him to TB or FLA games at the end of this home stand.

Well, I heard that during McDavid's recovery time he decided to become more of a physical force on the ice (Lucic like), and while training made Chuck Norris say "Uncle!" (Or, submit in MMA speak.)
