Blatant intent to injure, should be a suspension but there wasn't even a penalty. And here the league can't figure out why ratings are cratering into the basement.
Trip and suspend himself? I think getting hurt from losing his footing is enough. No need to penalize McDavid anymore

Oilers are a two player team, with one of them injured, they'll play .400 hockey until he's back

Philadelphia will receive a first-round pick in 2025 if Edmonton's first-round pick in 2025 is outside of the top twelve selections. Otherwise, the pick will defer to 2026.[82]

For those curious about the conditions of the oilers first round pick. That is right---Best case for us and worse case for the oilers, oilers might end up trading the 13th overall pick in the 2025 for the 32nd pick in 2024

Could be the same knee that he wrecked and never had surgery for. Hard to tell. Considering he's going back to Edmonton for evaluation isn't great news for Oilers fans.

McDavid surely wants a Cup, and if winning it means sitting out a season to have additional 12.5M in the roster space for the playoffs, he'll do it. Won't call it an asterisk cup too.

Bob stove top stuffing Stauffer says Connor has a very high pain threshold so 97 will be back after missing 2-3 games.
