Both players are super players. It’s odd to see a sniper that’s lefty and playmaker that a righty. It’s usually the other way around.

You mean by 2 years older and 40 pounds heavier Canadians? The time will come, when opponents won't have such an advantage over him.
Why would you bring up physicality as an “obvious advantage” and then immediately make up excuses and admit that it isn’t? Grasping at straws

Because he plays the game this way, but still not always ready for this, because he plays vs much older opponents. Bedard doesn't have any physicality at all. Yeah, it's not his game, he plays Kane hockey, which can be very effective as well. Still, Michkov has it, and Bedard doesn't. Can't understand, why argue about it.

Can you describe the physicality that you speak of? I didn’t see Michkov ever purposely physically engage with a Canadian player and when they engaged with him, the outcome wasn’t great.

I saw a few times him winning the puck along the boards, despite being way smaller, than opponents. Does it count?

Not sure if serious. As a 3rd generation Canadian, my decedents are Russian and Austrian/Polish. The vast majority of Canadians are not decedents of Britain.

Canada was basically created by Scottish Protestants and French Catholics along with various alliances with the aboriginal populations.

Roughly 1/3 are of Canadians are British descent (Scottish, English, Welsh) and lots of Irish, German, and Scandinavian as well especially throughout Western Canada as well. Large population of French descent too in Quebec.

Us descendants of the British are still the largest ethnic group in Canada. But yes, Canada is a diverse country overall for sure.

1 and 2 in tournament scoring. Crazy.

I think Michkov had the better tourney. But Bedard wins the Gold.

Difficult to say who is better, or has more potential. If the draft was today I’m inclined to say Bedard goes first by the fact he’s a center.

Real exciting to have 2 players that are still a couple years away from the NHL play like this. Future of the league.

As long as they don't wear a Habs jersey, I'll cheer for them.

He will go 1st in 2023 draft for sure, because he's crazy good, he's a center and he doesn't have a KHL contract.

3* if we're being picky, Wright had more goals and that is usually seen as the tie-breaker in situations of a pts tie, he also had a better ppg so whichever you choose he wins the tie breaker.

1st and 3rd for an underager (late bday) and a double underager is insane though

Wright would have outscored both, if he played all 7 games, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, he's way older, but he's gonna be a superstar in the NHL. Not sure about McDavids level, but Matthews level at least.
