My perspective:

1. I don’t want Kane back. It won’t serve much and is more for those pining for past. Let’s move forward with this group.

2. Not sure at 18 and his size/physical maturity he should start in NHL next season. Perhaps Rockford for a couple months or so first?

3. Would like one player on his line that is a bit physical. Guys will want to run him.

5. Glad KD sounded like he is staying the course and building from within and. Or accelerating going all in too early.. We are still a ways away but we have great prospects that don’t need to be rushed and ruined like Stan did.

Laz kinda sucks but he's getting a lot of play in this thread and I'm not sure why.
He writes those articles strictly for clicks. Not because he is a hockey savant. Surprised Beach wasn’t brought up again. But then, I cancelled my sub months ago strictly because of that jaggoff clown.

He can't play in Rockford next year. I see everyone talking about adding protection for him and I don't get it. The NHL is a much safer place than it was twenty years ago.

Just don’t want some Nixon running him. There are still few of those around but agree the league is quite different from say mid 90s.

All I know is I wouldnt even consider sending him to WJC again, f*** all that with kids trying to make a name for themselves, especially after Kirby..one way to protect him is keep him away from kids with nothing to lose and everything to gain by targeting him in meaningless tournaments

Bedard is not really "small", for those that might throw that out as his one and only fault. I know what his hockey card says, but he's built. Strong kid, especially lower body, and he is only 17.

Edit: Looks like he lists at 5'10 and 185 lbs. now. That's full on NHL size already.

Super exciting times.

Tinordi, Entwistle etc would all lay down in traffic to stay in the NHL. LuRich doesn't coach a soft team.

Tinordi would actually put his shoulder down and then run into oncoming traffic.

No one is going to cheap shot Bedard. He is the leagues next meal ticket.

What was that goofs name that ran Gretzky? Wasn't that his last game in the league?
