JuJu seems to always be a half step behind when he tries to catch and immediately start running. Mac forced the ball which made it even uglier

Sure, and then you might have one play left to get a few more yards, hoping you either get OOB, or hit a quick hit so you can spike and get the FG unit on.
OR
Don't throw a pass to the middle of the field and instead hit a few quick 5 yard outs to the side lines and be in a much better spot .
It's a stupid play regardless of the result.

True but it was 2nd and 8 and he forced the ball up the middle. Had it been 4th down or even 3rd down it would have made more sense trying to force it there.

By that logic it was Jones’ fault that Reagor dropped that dime earlier, because he’s not a legit NFL receiver. Laugh
