When was this? Gif?

I assume it's this, unless it happened at another time. Did Sportsnet have a better angle? I was expecting worse when I was looking for the time that it happened.

Guten Tag said Herr Buff as he obliterates little men.

Nice grind by the team. The Wild are all but finished.

CSW was on-point, as was Helle.

it's wednesday morning.
let's begin.

Copp on with the net pulled tells you everything you need to know about the guy. formerly known as @ocdaddy 's least favourite Jet, he's such an important piece out there. Basically, Little but without any of Little's old scoring touch.
Laine had another good game.
First line actually played like a 1st line for a bit.
Helle's stretch glove save was incredible. even more incredible was Morrissey's defensive play to stop a partial break. wow.
if you had to choose a series MVP, who would it be? Buff, probably. doing so many things well. a monster out there.
Poolman looked fine, and that's really more than you can ask for.
Morrow didn't look bad either. i mean, it was a shutout, so the entire d corp looked good.

tough game and the kind of game you want a team to play after being killed the game before. simple, steady, no bending or breaking.

and now, we have 2 days for our guys to heal. Lowry was less physical this game, so you hope that an extra day of Advil brings him back to monster status.

wrap this f***er up in Winnipeg so we can enjoy the spring weather.

The media is annoying. No hard fought road victory by Jets. Nope we got to see Morrissey's face plastered everywhere and how the blown call cost them the game. There where plenty of blown calls that went their way.

Pmo had a nice response. We thought the refs missed some calls last game that we would have liked called. I really think the refs just didn't see it tbh, or they would've called it a penalty.

Maybe Boudreau should say thank you to the refs for not throwing out Niederreiter for that head butt on Chiarot with the ref looking right at it.

The Wild have no right to complain about officiating in this series. FFS they had more power plays than the Jets in a game where they were outplayed 80-20. That’s basically impossible. They’ve gotten away with loads of obstruction and many blatantly intentional attempts to injure far away from the puck right from game 1.

The whole “cost them the game” thing is silly. There was more than 2/3 of the game left for them to get a goal. Who knows what would have happened if they call the penalty? Maybe the Jets heroically survive the 5 on 3 and the momentum carries them to a few more goals for us and we win by 3.

The refs have let them play three of four games, which is why game three was so weird they called everything like it was pre season lol. Must've been hard for players to adjust that game. I like letting the boys play, makes for great flow to the game.

I fell asleep early last night. How many games did Morrisey get? 20? 40? Is he presently languishing in a St. Paul jail?

No no, nothing like that. They just reversed the final score. We lost 2-0. Rinne with the shut-out on his Vezina nomination day.

Edit - Lol...that was a brain cramp. I had the wrong opponent...foreshadowing?

Between the Pipes
“My take is it’s the same take as everyone in the building saw,” fumed a crimson-faced coach Bruce Boudreau. “The refs saw it and decided not to call it because we were already on the power play. Cost us the game.”

***

The refs didn't make the call because it happened away from the play and nobody saw it. If the refs saw the Morrissey cross-check it would have been called, no question.

What I see.... I see a fine from the NHL coming Boudreau's way.

Beside the 2 penalties, Chiarot has been fantastic so far.
Poolman is very calm with the puck for a newbie. Much more calm than Trouba so far.
And Morrow? Some guys just need a chance. He’s been very good.
Our depth has stepped up when we needed them and they are pretty darn good!
