That win "really ties the room together".
Stressful game but so awesome to win!

I swore at Trouba several times for his bumbling and fumbling. The weird thing is he is doing some nice things defensively and him and Morrissey are essentially shutting down their opponents. It's just painful to watch him struggle in other areas when he can be so good. Hopefully he can get back to pre-injury Trouba form ASAP.

Friday could be a BIG party.
But also may be the toughest game to win...
At least until we break their spirit.
The way they are trotting out the excuses and playing the victim role, I think their spirit is broken.

That's a game they need, if they can't pull out a close 1 goal game at home, what's the confidence level coming back to Winnipeg, where they've largely been dominated.

This games Buff Smash

With an extra day in between games, someone should do a Buff's hit list from the first 4 games.

Drivers wanted. Death From Above. Buff's Airborne hits.

I'd hate to be without mo Myers enstrom kulikov. Trouba just off.

I have to say I'm very impressed with our backup defensemen--I thought they all played well tonight. Poolman, Morrow and Chiarot all looked real solid.

If we lose Morrissey for a game or 2 due to a suspension, I think we have enough depth on defense to still beat the Wild.

Hopefully Myers will be back by Friday, and maybe Enstrom as well.

It's a good thing when you don't notice your backup Defenders. No real gaffes all game.

Poolman did really well coming in cold.
Nothing fancy but he uses his big body well and even kept the puck in a few times.
If Morrissey gets 2 games and we finish off the Wild on Friday that would mean no JoMo for Game 1 of round 2.
That would hurt!!!!

Somebody post the Chipman cheering GIF

LeBrun: Jets didn't doubt Connor Hellebuyck's ability to...

ST.PAUL, Minn. — The big boss stopped Connor Hellebuyck in the dressing room and looked him right in the eye.
“I’m so proud of you,’’ Winnipeg Jets chairman Mark Chipman said to his goaltender. “You were just so, so solid in there.’’
Not that Chipman nor anyone connected to the Jets organization had any doubt about Hellebuyck’s bounce-back ability but the fact it came on a day where the netminder was recognized in a real special fashion is probably what the Jets part-owner was also pumped up about.

Question for all those who thought winning 1 PO game would be enough. Is 3 enough now? Jk.

Great White North eh...
I no longer watch Sportsnet, but I am pretty sure Romanyk has one of those word-of-the-day calendars and tries to work it into everything.

Lol. Exactly what I said to my wife while we were watching the game. These two jokers are brutal.

I actually don't mind the word of the day thing. But their obvious bias against anything Jets just makes me want to throw something at my tv. They should go back to doing Leafs games where they really want to be.
Please Leafs lose this series so we can be rid of them for the next series.

I know reading around HF is hazardous to ones health. But all of a sudden people are calling the Jets, “the Ducks of the central” because of Morriseys cross check. SMH.

My favorite was from one poster in the main board thread on the cross check... something along the line of "another dirty hit from this POS"... I was like what was the one before tonight?

1st star should go to the anthem singer for laying out the Jinx with his pandering peech.

I really enjoyed his, should I say, showmanship? Great voice. Liked his cup to the ear in the first game in Minni for the true north shout out. Really thought it was a nice gesture to point to the vet while sing "home of the brave" .
