I think I'm losing it. I swear I heard Murray was out for the whole playoffs with his concussion but I don't see anything about it.
Am I losing my grip or are my psychic powers finally maturing?

I love all the Dubas apologists on here pretending that our goaltending isn't an issue. He's been in charge of the team for how many years now? In every single effing one of those years we've had to sweat about our goaltending and all of the used band aids that Dubas constantly patches the position with. Sure, Samsonov looks ok right now, but so did Campbell and Andersen during the regular season. Even if Samsonov does step up and cement himself in the position this year we can't afford to re-sign him because of the Murray debacle. Sure, the man who signed Michael Hutchinson to multiple extensions has this goaltending position figured out. Sure he does.
Trying to figure out who the Leafs missed out on all those years. Who was available? Andersen was a disappointment, but he was one of the best free agents out there. If anything you could fault the scouting departments for not drafting a #1 . They don’t grow on trees though. Whether is Vasilevskiy, Shesterkin, Sorokin, they all came up through the ranks. Samsonov fell in our laps. Be happy he’s been excellent.

Don’t be surprised if he’s on the bench with a clipboard game 1. Just warning you.

That would mean I'm not psychic

If we get to the point where we need to consider Woll or Murray starting, just come to terms with the fact that season is over.

Woll looks best of the 3 in limited viewing.

If you ignore goal where he fell like an idiot, all the goals he let in is because the defence played very bad, not bad goaltending.

I watched Samsonovs media availability. The kid was absolutely gushing about how much he loves being in Toronto. Said the comradierie reminds him of his team back in Russia, goes on about how we have the best staff, loves the city, etc.

I don't think he's going to be tough to extend in the offseason, I think both sides are probably going to be very eager to sign something.

Honestly so weird because I figured I would see something about it here, but Nada. He actually skated today. I should have a drink
That sounds like a plan, I think I'll do just that.

I love Woll's potential, but if you need to sit Sammy either due to an injury or to poor play the season is in big trouble.
Can't expect any goalie to never have a bad game. If Sammy has a couple of mediocre games, we lose game 4 to NJ and Woll comes in with us up 3-1 in the series to try to close it out, I won't be the least bit worried.

Matt Murray and Jordan Binnington were former 3rd round picks who came in with similar inexperience as Woll and got hot to help lead their teams to a cup.

Definitely risky, but recent history has shown that they can catch lightning in a bottle.

I'm not too concerned about our goalies.
*Sammy as our starter gives me confidence.
*Woll as backup is exciting because of how well he's played. He has the best glove of the 3.
*Matt Murray...has not been good, but if I've got to throw a third string goalie into a game because of whatever, I'm ok with it being a guy who has won a Cup.

Potvin did alright when he was called upon. If Felix the Cat did it maybe Woll the Wall can do it too.
