Long time Canadian CBJ fan/lurker here. A few of my roomies and I are planning on doing a road trip at the beginning of April and just had a few questions regarding the student rush tickets. It would be the Saturday April 4th game vs Pittsburgh and after looking online couldn't find out if the offer extends to Canadian university id's. Does any one know if they do? How early should we arrive to guarantee tickets as well as any other thoughts on buying tickets?

Thanks in advance and excited to see my first game at Nationwide!

There's no stipulation on there website regarding where you go to college. The biggest concern would be arriving early enough to get tickets, as Pens are a big draw and that game will sellout. I'm guessing since it's a 2 pm start, the student rush line will be pretty long by 8 or 8:30. If I were driving in from out of the country, I think 8am would be latest I'd want to be in line.

If you don't care about seat location, the Green Seats go on sale sooner than the Rush tickets. Cheaper too.

great read...the part about the DJ being one of the best made me chuckle since I knew the previous dj and it'll bruise his ego to see that...

Are they selling raffle tickets for the "Jersey off Their Backs" tonight? They used to do it that way, then went to a text to win entry. I think they also pull random STH for a few.

Anyone have any idea how tonight's giveaway will be done?

I've heard nothing about a jersey give away and don't think there is one.

Ahhh... must have been SuperG baiting me to get well and go to the game tonight. Tricksy Hobbit.

edit: just got word, no jerseys are given away tonight from my ticket rep.

Hey Blue Jackets fans!

Going to be in town a few weeks from now for the Ranger Blue Jacket game and was wondering if anyone could possibly provide me with some great to do stuff for both daytime and night time activities in Columbus!

We're all hockey fans so hopefully we have similar likes and dislikes :D

Thanks in advance!

Usually when our board gets requests like this, I think most of us would like a little more info about you in order to tailor our answers better.

What demographic do you and your party fall under and how long are you staying? Any particular interests (other than hockey)?

Just my dad and I, I'm in my 20's and he's in his 50's.

I'm gonna be in town for 3 nights, I live in the DC area

He's a big history buff, also likes science, sports, concerts, bars, even the touristy stuff

I just like keepin the old man happy ;)

(I didn't know about the concert one.) Just throwing the OSU stuff in since during the winter that would be the only other sports in town (other than smaller colleges).
