Went to my account to look at additional playoff tickets this morning since the presale is under way, but so far they aren't showing up as an option on my account. For some reason, only next year's ticket plans are available to me for purchase. Is any other full STH having this issue? Contacted my rep and am waiting for him to get back with me. We will see what the issue is.

Did you click "Buy Packages/Tickets" at bottom? Then on next screen, it gives four options, the fourth option is "2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs".

Yes I've tried to do that a few times now and it's just not showing up. On the side under "View Available Events" it shows an option for 2014Stanley Cup Playoff Additional Strips but there's not an actual button to click anywhere to access the page. I have my 2 reserved, but I definitely want to at least have a chance at buying more, since that's part of what I'm paying for as a full sth.

We have had numerous problems with our account when using our home computer. If I log in from work, I don't have problems. Not sure if it is a security setting or browser setting or what. Try using a different browser and see if the missing buttons show up.

Nationwide regulars...money aside, what are the best seats in the house available for non-season ticket holders for playoff games? I know they haven't released tickets yet but your best guess is much appreciated.

Do they still do those super awesome lounge seats w/ the lounge chairs?

I reserved two in club 4, two in 113, and 2 in 206 F, two in 203 e. Got all I was allowed, trying to keep any opposing fans out of the barn. I figure I can find CBJ fans to buy them if my kids can't go.

Lots of seats in HD lounge available still, but too rich for my blood. Individual games for playoffs go on sale for STH Friday morning. Then, I'd guess open to all maybe Sat or Sun? Not sure.

Here's the full-playoff season price list for season ticket holders:

Individual game prices will vary by round (i.e. Stanley cup final tickets would be much more costly than first round playoff tickets). For example, the TWC seats on an individual game basis may cost $200 per game first round, $250 per game for second round, $350 per game for third round and $400 per game for SCF.

I'm not sure of "lounge chairs". The only thing I can think of that you may be referencing are the Loge boxes. Which you have your own table with four office style chairs and a personal TV on you table and personal wait staff. The TWC seats I think are normal seats, but have access to the TWC lounge for food/drinks.

They aren't going to be bringing in a lot of casual fans at $60/ticket for upper bowl seats. Weren't the prices about half of that last time?

Nope.

Frankly, if someone isn't willing to pay $60 a seat for playoff hockey, they're probably not that close to going anyway.

$60 is what I pay to watch the Panthers play the Canucks from the nosebleeders... it's a very reasonable price to get to watch one of the most intense competitions in sports.

Thanks a bunch for the update Derby. My experience as a non STH calling up the Jackets is that they are nice folks but worse than car salesmen as nagging goes, I try to avoid it and now I can. Good looking out sir.

IIRC last time around I read in the paper that the Jackets did those student ticket deals even for the playoffs, and that kids were waiting outside the night before. I wonder if they do that this time around. It made for a cool photo IIRC

I think they did have the seats behind the goals a little lower and not the same price as the sideline (201-205 or 215-219) type seats. But the sideline seats were about $50-60 for first round. Keep in mind, this is just first round pricing. Wait until someday when we play in later rounds. I don't have the pricing schedule, but if you bought the playoff strips, the average price per game if CBJ hosted 16 home playoff games would be $90. That means the upper bowl seats will may be closer to $150-175 for Stanley Cup Final games.

However, all major sports raise prices on post-season tickets (college and pro). I'm sure they'll sellout the arena anyway.

I don't think they did the student rush tickets, but yes, the Huntington "Green Seats" were available for $10 each. My son was a high school junior, and he skipped school to literally camp out in front of the box office over night. He was 10th in line and scored the seats, but his teachers saw the news feature online... oops.

Cool thing, some players stopped by to chat the campers up before their morning skate that day. It was an experience he will never forget. It was COLD, too!

I think they were $50 or $55 in the upper bowl last time around.

Plus, the current regular season tickets in the center ice sections are $55 a pop as it is.

They did the rush tickets last time. If I remember right I joined the line at about noon on game day and was able to get an upper bowl ticket for $15.
