CBJ officially announce public sale for playoff tickets will begin Friday at 9am. Ticket sales are for 1st and 2nd home game. Sales restricted to Ohio residents until April 15th.

I would hope that tickets would be gone before seedings are finalized anyway, so Pens fans would be shutout if we draw them in first round. The restricted sales to Ohio helps some, but there are a ton of Pens fans in Ohio too.

Ya great. Restricted sales to Ohio residents... yay.

I suppose I can find a friend to buy the tickets. I could only fly in for a weekend game (maybe a Friday) but it looks like the home games will be in the middle of the week ya?

I told myself I'd fly back for a playoff game - but if it's during the week that can't happen

I would guess tickets will sell out (or close in on it) by the time Saturday's game starts, based on what is currently available. So unless the seedings are all finalized by then, I think we will be just fine in terms of the masses of opposing fans. Even if not, the Ohio sales only will at least filter some of the riff raff if we do end up drawing that team.

Slight chance of Game 1 on Sunday, Apr 20th, but otherwise I expect weeknight 21st-24th games.

So are our first two home games likely to be the 21st/23rd or 22nd/24th of April? One of those two combinations?

I find it interesting, for all the people that say it's not the season ticket people to blame for the invasion of Pitt, Chi and Det, that if you go on Stubhub, there are 1026 tickets available for home game 3 of the playoffs. Only games 1 and 2 were made available in the pre-sale season ticket code for individual playoff games, even tomorrow, only games 1 and 2 will be on sale to the public. So that means that the only way you could have an actual seat for home Game 3 and be able to sell it, is if you have a season ticket and bought the whole playoffs package to make a few bucks. I know there are die hard fans that are the backbone of our fan base, but there are quite a few that have season tickets and just want to make a few bucks when the Pens and Blackhawks come to town also

Guys, don't post the presale password.

Feel free to PM it to other Blue Jackets fans but don't publicly ask for it or share it.

Thanks.

I don't think I got a pre-sale code. Had to buy extra tickets through my account, if you are talking about season ticket holder pre-sale.

I already bought my tickets from the first pre-sale, but i got an email today from the "flag bearer" something or other with another pre-sale password.

I really wish we knew the dates... But I do need help. So if I just bought the tickets on Stubhub (for whatever reason, I feel like they're untrustworthy for this) and I want to go to game 4, I buy tickets for home game 2 and then just print them when the "TBD" has been taken off of it? Probably a stupid question, but help would be appreciated. :)

With my quarter season package, I already had home game #2 tickets, but I'm going to get tickets for home game #1 now, just so I can go and to not leave it open to potential opposing fans.

I got on Ticketmaster with my account number/promo code and it shows me only single seats available for home game #1. Can anyone else confirm that? I've placed a call to my rep but I haven't heard back yet.

I hope we are that close to a sell out, why didn't you buy them last friday when the STH pre-sale started?

I'm a quarter season plan holder and I only knew about the presale because someone on here mentioned it was open...I never got the email, had to call my rep to have it sent to me...my plan 'rewarded' me with 2 tickets to the first playoff game, I bought 4 to the second playoff game in the presale...

Yeah, I don't know why I didn't jump on it immediately. I figured there would still be some left by time the public sale started, because I got '09 playoff tickets without a problem via public sale.

Just got off the phone with my Rep. He said all pre-sale tickets are gone, and there are only a few left for the general public. They had a huge response from season ticket holders, and actually had to cut off the sales to them.

Tomorrow will be an on-line only ticket sale for the public through ticket-master. No phone orders.

Besides stub-hub, I have seen tickets for sale on e-bay.

Stubhub has a lot. I tried to get tickets today on TM for the upper bowl in the Flag Bearer Presale and the cheapest available were lower bowl corners for $120. I ended up going back to Stubhub and bought 2 upper bowl, center ice tickets for games 1 and 2 for $70ea.

Just another reminder, if you want to make money on your seats, use stubhub. Don't try to sell tickets above face value here. Thanks.
