If you’re kicked out of the faceoff dot you don’t get to stay.thats their right
when youre kicked out of the dot its a choice to leave or not; however, when the Columbus player stayed and then jumped the gun a second time, its supposed to be a faceoff violation penalty
If this is truly the rule, why would a player ever leave?I believe when tossed, player has option to stay. If they do commit another infraction, it becomes a delay of game minor
I agree with Bleed Elvis sucks .... we just suck moreWelp, threw everything we had at Columbus, but their goalie stood on his head all day.
They’re doneAnother one goal loss they refuse to get points in. Not good
the player has the right to stay in the dot; they tend not to stay because it can result in an infractionIf you’re kicked out of the faceoff dot you don’t get to stay.
Otherwise the Devils would have kept McLeod in to try to win the draw after he was kicked out.
If a team commits 2 in a row it’s a penalty, regardless if it’s 2 different players.I believe when tossed, player has option to stay. If they do commit another infraction, it becomes a delay of game minor
The team is penalized if the guy is kicked out and the new guy commits a violation as well. It has nothing to do with a guy not leaving.the player has the right to stay in the dot; they tend not to stay because it can result in an infraction
i promise lol.. though it is one of the NHL's least-known rules
Score effects I've been told.I like the push back. It's a start.
I'm encouraged.
this isnt correct, the two infractions has to be by the same playerIf a team commits 2 in a row it’s a penalty, regardless if it’s 2 different players.
Players would never leave after getting kicked out if not forced.

He was asked to leave twice, though, I believe.Thats how the rules work, the ref did nothing wrong but drop the puck prematurely; Jenner has the right to stay in the dot but risks a penalty by doing so if he impedes a second time
Saw him talking to the refs. He looked fine. For anyone with a different feed, or at the game, did Jack get up ok? He went into the boards hard.
Just another example of a team being more prepared than we arethe player has the right to stay in the dot; they tend not to stay because it can result in an infraction
i promise lol.. though it is one of the NHL's least-known rules
You are making this shit upI believe when tossed, player has option to stay. If they do commit another infraction, it becomes a delay of game minor
How's he clearly playing hurt? He was buzzing.Jack is back but he is clearly playing hurt.
Schmid at the end of the day was good enough (but still allowed a soft first goal). He should get a run, but something needs to change.
It's was just about half of the game.Score effects I've been told.
