Because Jackie Redmond recently expanded her role with WWE, so she chose to step down from hosting NHL Now.

Should be just fine but that means less LG and Hersch on On the Fly, which is a bummer. I don't really have a chance to watch NHL Now since it's on in the afternoons.
Think about minimising your role in a real sport so you can expand your career with people playing dress up with a bunch of other people who are stuck in their childhood like that brethren who's 40 YO and still plays as a baby on My Strange Addiction lol. WWE is definitely trainwreck entertainment, it is so bad but you simply can't look away.

So Josh says getting Altitude out of its coverage jail is "difficult". Meanwhile other major western cities are getting local TV coverage and online platforms. What's so difficult? Is this just ego now?
Because the network is cable and exists. The rights are very easy to move if the Avs wanted to. No carriers want to pay for RSNs now and Altitude is a niche one.

Whether we like it or not they get a lot more viewers than NHL. Because it's not 32 franchises all with their own coverage, the media coverage they do get is far more concentrated. So anyone wanting to be seen by many more people would do what she is doing.

So it seems that if you are an (HBO) MAX subscriber you get free access to BleacherReport TV until February, after which it is $9.99 a month. And that gets you access to some live sports including Kings v Avs tomorrow. It may still be blacked out though.

I'm curious to see if this works for Coloradans.
I wish watching this team without a kitten was easier.

It shouldn’t blackout but only covers TNT games.

I wish the Avs would put more effort into their own media.

They're sitting on a goldmine of access to players and potential content that fans want to see, but they barely produce any at all.

They've had three games so far and only uploaded one post game interview with Bednar.

They've only uploaded one post game player interview after each game. After the first game, they showed a 30 second clip of one answer during Mikko's press scrum. The other two they cut off the interview while Cale and LOC were still talking.

They had more interviews to upload they just didn't and cut short the ones they did. I can't think of a reason not to upload the others and this has been a common occurrence for years.

Listening to a DNVR podcast since Lacroix joined them and the energy is sooooo much different than when Jesse was there. I've nothing against Montano but I felt he was a little too fiery to pair with Rudo and AJ, Lacroix's chill vibe appears to fit in nicely with the other two.

I agree. I was actually a bit skeptical about Lacroix joining but I like his chill vibe and it's nice that it's very different to the to the very hot/cold energy of AJ and what Rudo brings. I'm hesitant to criticize podcasters because it's kind of a personal thing whether or not any person vibes with a podcaster, and it's nothing against them but I have a hard time vibing with AJ and Rudo. I also think Meghan has gotten a lot better as she's gotten more comfortable. I've been listening to the DNVR podcast more of late than it was when it was predominantly AJ and Rudo.

Hockey Mountain High is still my top Avs podcast though it's undergoing some changes and not clear how it's going to end up, but Aarif has been solid at podcasting.

Does Lacroix's hockey knowledge counter whatever AJ is saying or is it all Fairy and Unicorns'?

You know, if the Broncos weren't so terrible, it would be kind of funny for them and the Avs and Nuggets to all go together on billboards around Denver with their logos and respective championship trophies on them, with a caption that reads, "You're move Rockies."

Maybe even add the Mammoth to up the spiciness.
