Missed this yesterday.
Looks like Penn State football is back in the off-field news for the reasons you would expect.

He likely can’t say anything because of lawyers. But Penn State will still be beholden to a higher level of scrutiny for obvious reasons.Full disclosure I am a PSU fan and alumnus. I like to think I'm pretty even keeled despite this, I do not worship the Paterno altar, Sanduskey should rot in hell.
That being said, these players were immediately dismissed from the team and expelled. No longer part of the program. The reporter who tweeted was one of two reporters who asked these questions immediately after a statement saying there would be no comments on an ongoing legal matter, the other reporter works at the same site and runs a podcast with the first one who asked. This was intentional sensationalism, not journalism.
The response I keep seeing is "all Franklin has to do is say 'no comment' and it would be fine!" Yeah, I highly doubt that. There was literally a statement made 2 seconds beforehand, do we really think it would have been different if the person who read the statement was changed?

hope someone has a cannon and hits Sark and Ewers tbh

They really did what 100,000 youtube and twitch streamers couldn't. They won a game as Kennesaw State.Kennesaw was a 27.5 point dog.
Had no idea Kennesaw St was D-IA. Wonder how much that shift costs, and how much $ it will eventually bring in. Although it does also raise the profile of the school and help attract applicants which is harder to quantify.

Buffs are 8-2, bowl eligible, and ranked #16. Turns out Deion did in fact improve the program short term, wouldn’t you agree?Great what is that going to do for the program? It isn't improving them in the short term they were as bad last season as they were under Dorrell and worse than under McIntyre. This year they don't look an better and needed luck/refs to beat a FCS team and terrible Baylor team.
Long term they aren't using that money to improve their recruiting/facilities. They aren't using it to hire better coaches, bring in quality players.
So again all Deion has down is bring in more hype to himself and his son. none of what he has brought to Colorado has improved the program short term or long term.
The deal between Turner and ESPN is going to bring Turner some Big 12 media rights as part of a sub-licensing agreement in exchange for producing Inside the NBA.
13 football games and 15 basketball games for the next 6 years, when their next media rights deal comes up.
Probably great news for the Big 12 who can get some of their better matchups out of After Dark time slots. And may create space for the New Pac-X to find space on ESPN or even Turner.
Happy 10-year anniversary
