Someone will pick him up I would think. Was the fourth line center on two cup winning teams and played great in the playoffs for both of those teams.

If we have to waive a roster guy, it's because we're only giving up prospects or picks and so need to make space for a additional player. Right? (Or getting more players back than we're giving up, I suppose.)

good move. Fraser was what was needed in 2012. he stabilized the #4 and helped the team win the SC, but it is time to move along. thanks Fraser and i wish you the best

time for some of the kids to step up hopefully. i hope this doesn't turn into a Lewis #4C situation, because that will be just as unproductive

I do. Colin Fraser is probably my favorite player. With FrasCasts and the fun way he chirped his fellow teammates at the Dodger Stadium practice, he became my favorite. I hope this "paper" move goes smoothly and he's back with the Kings after the Olympics.

Fraser, like many on the team has seen his play really fall off the past couple of years.

Really liked him in 2012, thought he was a really quality fourth line player in the playoffs, but in 2014 he is either an AHL player or a 13th or 14th forward.

He's not as physical and as much of a pest as a 4th line center as he used to be. I don't know what caused him to lose the intensity but he's been ineffective since the Cup run.

Lately our players have been sniped off of waivers quite a bit, hopefully that trend continues. Fraser is a decent minute eating fourth line center, but brings nothing to the table for this team, and we have better options behind him. Time for some prospects to get some work, and to set the roster up for some trades.
