Unlikely anything gets reported until he skates with the team in a noncontact uni.Has anyone heard anything about Perfettis return?
Tomorrow's the start of week 6, originally expected to be out for 8 which puts him at around April 17th.Has anyone heard anything about Perfettis return?
That's exactly what I was thinking. He would be a nice addition to our powerplay attack right now.

He can be just what they need and Connor will get plenty of passes as will anyone that's on the PP. His vision is crazy, Cole will create offensive opportunities. That's his game hopefully he can use it.
If he needs surgery might as well just do it and be ready for next year.
If he needs surgery I'm surprised it hasn't been done by now. No way would you want to drop the kid into the playoffs part way through after being off for close to 3 months. He is too important for our future to risk injuring again this season.Yeah, I can't see them even considering dropping him into a playoff series regardless of how nice it would be to have him in the line up.
If he needs surgery, get it - and use the time between then and next season, to get physically prepared.
As for surgery, they might have dragged that decision out in hope that they could get him ready for the PO's without it.If he needs surgery I'm surprised it hasn't been done by now. from bowness' conference in feb they said unrelated to last year's, and they could not pinpoint when it happened in the game against NJD, was perhaps accumulation of things. that's all that was said. finished the game too fwiw.Did I miss what the injury actually is somewhere?
I seem to recall that last year it was a shoulder issue and this year's is unrelated to last year's?
I'm starting to sweat both his and chaz's durability a little
Wasn’t last year’s injury his back?Did I miss what the injury actually is somewhere?

He had multiple apparentlyWasn’t last year’s injury his back?
Yeah, who knows -The only way would be if he were 100% healthy.
I'm still going with he has a shoulder separation. Those generally can be rehabbed without surgery but can take up to 12 weeks.
If he needed surgery I'd have to think it would have happened by now. I doubt they'd want to cut 3 months out of his offseason training to delay it outbof some hope he'd make the playoffs.
Wasn’t last year’s injury his back?
i believe it was initially but apparently suffered another one while he was out. scheifele mentioned and specificed in an interview in summer that perfetti was coming off a back injury.I thought it was his shoulder/collarbone
