Zero time to react there...to be honest, it's a wonder how those type of collisions don't happen way more ofte

Weber already gave him his nickname cased you missed it"Coco"?
Yes, he's small and kinda' cute, but I'm not crazy about naming our players after house pets.
Did he get a concussion or just have to go through the concussion protocol?
The way he grabbed his head multiplied by his worth to the team I would have 3 helmets on the kid. Good thing they take headshots more seriously nowadays.Probably through protocol.
There are spotters that make a call if they feel a player got hit hard enough in the head to cause a concussion they have to go to the quiet room.
I feel like there's a feeling that if you get hit in the head by any degree you have to go get checked out
Good policy for player safety. Thankfully he's ok that collision looked pretty bad.Probably through protocol.

Hmmm guys... What the hell, do we have the best goalscoring RWer in the league ?????? (Okay thats Pasta, but Ill take second any day.)
Was just gonna say
Sometimes you CAN hit your head and it's just the skin and/or bone that hurt for a bit lol
I mean not EVERYthing is a brain injury, I agree
My takeaway is CC seemed confused about the tests for a concussion when he probably just had a cartoon bruise bump lol
Wow, tied for 3rd in NHL for even strength goals at 15.
WHAT? I thought he could only score on the power play? /s
I honestly think this is true.No one scores on our PP. If our PP was any good, Caufield would be challenging McDavid for the Rocket.
He will heat up again and be pacing for 50 in no time imo. He’s too good a goal scorer not to.Three straight without a point or a goal. Not a big deal but down to pacing for 44.5 goals on the year. The good news is that he's still getting some chances. But man, if he stops scoring I don't see anyone putting the puck in the net for us.
They were together yesterday.I'm going to Christen my Caufield jersey tonight that I got for Christmas. Hopefully it will bring him some luck and he'll break his slump tonight. They need to put him back with Suzuki already!
Make it 4!They were together yesterday.
I just love how we call a 3 games with no goals a ‘’slump’’ for him lol
Make it 4!
Anyways, tonight was the worst I've seen him since the DD days. I'm not too concerned but it'd be nice for him to get back on track. His chances of scoring 50 this season are starting to slip away.
I'm not concerned either. But it would've been nice to get to 50. He still has a legit shot at it but...Yeah but it’s kinda hard to do it all alone.
Not concerned either for him
Nooo man, that's what all of us have kind of been saying lolI'm not concerned either. But it would've been nice to get to 50. He still has a legit shot at it but...
I don't think him getting 45 vs 50 is going to change much in terms of contract negotiations.Nooo man, that's what all of us have kind of been saying lol
Get 50 but next year, AFTER you sign a cheap team friendly super long term contract lol
8×7 is looking like a REAL possibility now, and we'd be so fortunate
