There are spotters that make a call if they feel a player got hit hard enough in the head to cause a concussion they have to go to the quiet room.

I feel like there's a feeling that if you get hit in the head by any degree you have to go get checked out

The way he grabbed his head multiplied by his worth to the team I would have 3 helmets on the kid. Good thing they take headshots more seriously nowadays.

It's more about if the brain is displaced and hits the cranium/encephalon wall.

He’s continuing to produce despite the offense cratering. Don’t know if he can keep up the pace but he’s tracking for 47 goals. Still consistently putting the puck in the net.

His assist totals have dropped but I think that’s just a function of the club’s scoring decline overall.

Three straight without a point or a goal. Not a big deal but down to pacing for 44.5 goals on the year. The good news is that he's still getting some chances. But man, if he stops scoring I don't see anyone putting the puck in the net for us.

He will heat up again and be pacing for 50 in no time imo. He’s too good a goal scorer not to.

Anyways, tonight was the worst I've seen him since the DD days. I'm not too concerned but it'd be nice for him to get back on track. His chances of scoring 50 this season are starting to slip away.

I don't think him getting 45 vs 50 is going to change much in terms of contract negotiations.

Honestly, it reminds me of MB. I'm convinced he had players held back so he could get them on cheaper contracts.

We haven't had a 50 goal man since... freaking Richer. Dude it's time. Give me the 50 now if you can! It's been way too long. Besides, it makes the games for more interesting if a player has something to pursue.
