How many goals will Caufield score in 22-23?

Body language, i'm not a fan.

Scored a goal last night and then proceeded to spin twice (like a balerina almost) before celebrating with his teammates. Thats not a normal goal celebration. That looked weird, seems like he's fighting demons.
I believe it's the same demon that took over Jeff Petry's soul in the 2021 playoffs.

Thanks to Doucharme, Cole at the bottom of that lost and not at the top of it.

I was guessing he’d finish with 35 goals this season but he’s well on his way to destroying that!!
He'll climb the list, I'm not worried. He's gonna get even better with time. Such a special player.

Caufield can get at least 4/5 more goals if he didn't miss so many nice setup play from Suzuki.

CC potential is Michael Ryder
I can understand the comparison, but CC is a much better skater, which allows him to get open much more easily.

He’s also a better passer and/or has better vision.

Ryder only had 2 60 points seasons in his career. Caufield will do much better than that.

He tapped out at 35 goals and had three thirty goal seasons. CC will pass the 35 this year. I predicted 40+ this year with a chance at 50. He’s pacing for that now. He’s significantly better than Ryder was.

Caufield is our superstar. The more he learns from MSL the better.

He can score from any shot he takes. He’s the anti-Gionta.

That was late career Gionta, cuz he didn't score all those 54 goals in his best season by not being versatile. He deked his way into a lot of goals in his best seasons.

Felt like Caufield was a dangerous presence all game last night, it's so weird having one of those types of guys on our team for a change lol

Yes, almost always dynamic and trying to make something happen. Feel like him and Dach were the only good players yesterday. His shot on his ‘’first goal/no goal’’ was so good, sad it hit the post and didn’t get in.

Caufield is a very smart player. You have to be to be that small. He picks his moments well. He knows that he has to shoot when he's open but he makes beautiful passes that are aided by how much the opponents have to respect his shot. CC is more than a goalscorer, he's showing that he's an all round good offensive hockey mind. Ryder wishes he had Cole's Vision and Skating.

I could see him plateauing around 40ish goals and never quite becoming a 50 goal guy but the thing about CC is that he scores BIG goals. So many GTG GWG OTGWGs in his career at each level. He'll be an impact player for years to come.
