Confirmed with Link: [COL, CAR, CHI] Rantanen-Hall to CAR, Necas-Drury-25 2nd-26 4th to COL, Chi 25 3rd to Chi (Ret 50% on Mikko)

I get it, I should've waited a bit longer (a lot longer) with the comment. I want nothing but good for the Avs, its always been one of the teams to follow for me.

We were already struggling with Mikko, but it's more the type of goals than simply goals. We can't create anything if it isn't bar down.

HNiC discussing if Rantanen might go back to Denver in July 😂

Yeah, it was brought up during our game too.

Are finnish goals superior?

We have 88 now.
Of course not. Like I said before, I'm sorry and it was a bad timing to comment.

Yeah, well I hope you guys will do well.

If I knew I'd piss someone off here I would've never posted anything.
Trust me... you can't post something here without pissing someone off. That's just who we are.

Tell us to have a good afternoon and half the folks will tell you to mind your own damn business and the other half will tell you to f-off. We don't mean anything by it though. We lived through 16/17 and were all fundamentally changed somehow... and it was not for the better.

I was fine from that, the Valentine's Day Massacre was what got me,

If being honest, I'd prefer that Rantanen was still an Av. I get why he was traded but always just imagined he would be an Av for life. Well, that's the business side of hockey.

And lmao, I see. I mainly post on international boards because not a single NHL team has been like "thats the team for me". I don't even support my home town Liiga team because I just don't feel the connection even though I've lived here over half of my life.

Yes but at the same time we're also very welcoming. I don't know how to explain it lol.

Friedman says Avs were willing to make Mikko the highest paid winger in the league above Panarin's $11.64M but not willing to go above MacKinnon's $12.6M. He doesn't know the exact offer but people around the league believe their offer was at around $11.75M.

Thats about as high as I'd have been willing to go with the current cap situation.

I mean.... there is a team that will pay him above that, so I get it. It's a shitty situation, but push comes to shove and I don't think I want the avs to be the team that does.

Having said that, the money doesn't necessarily net you equal value in return... there's some luck and crafty dealmaking involved to get back what you lost.
