All from last night, and it all links back to Chere citing speculation among Devils players. Whether it was actually a player or two's guesses or a front from him for his own guess we don't know and it doesn't matter, but either way it appears that he was again looking for attention/traffic with more meaningless BS

Idk what system Steven could implement, but if he is intense like he was when he was a player, sign me up.

That's what I meant in the second "or" of my post. He could have just said players speculation to serve as a front for his own guess/idea and never actually spoken to a player(s).

With Lou apparently saying this isn't going to be a long term hire then I fully expect this to be Stevens or Barr. The possibility of someone like Wilson or Bylsma is unlikely at this point.

It really isn't. Most things get leaked with a purpose.

I want a coach that shows some emotion that he cares. The last time you saw Pete get mad was at Torts. That was the only time you ever saw him get mad.

Pete was furious with the refs quite often this season and he showed it.
Maybe the tv cameras didn't pick that up.

The reality is whoever it is could turn out to be the long term answer.

If someone comes in and does well then that guy could be signed up long term. It just might not be the original reason for his hire.

Well, I'm just hearing about this. I took the 3 days off from the NHL too.

His line-up decisions and his lack of adjusting the system got fit the players available did him in.

I don't dislike PDB, but he wasn't coaching to his potential. Seems like a bright guy but stubborn in his ways. Sad because when he was hired I was hoping he would be a longterm solution.
