March has been a brutal month with both the competition and the number of games played. 8-2 since the deadline against teams either in playoff position or fighting to get in. Pretty damn good in my book. It's OK to give them credit for this right?
I mean, they really kind of played a bad one tonight, and I'm not really harping on it.

They're entitled to one after a good stretch and, as I've mentioned, the Flyers aren't a matchup I'm crazy about for stylistic reasons.

I enjoyed the game.

I've been blessed to have the L be my regular line.

I actually have the L line tattooed on my arm. It's one of multiple NYC tattoos that I have.

That's another thing people are gonna find out if they talk shit about.

Isn't the L a relatively short line? I feel like that could be the reason for its performance. It's one of those weird horizontal lines.

It's a Cup

Yes

I'm 50 & have seen this team be favs, underdogs, also rans, & for MANY years NOTHING

So yeah. I don't care about beating the Flyers in OT after giving up 5 goals

I care about the playoffs

Enjoy the 5 goals we gave up to that team lol

It's a factor. It doesn't have to go halfway to Mars like the A train.

But still, it can do it's whole line in just under 40 minutes.

It's semi-automatic and only requires one crew member instead of the standard two, thanks to state of the art (or it was in 2012, anyway) signaling technology.

That technology now can't be used on other lines.

What I don't like about it is it's short and horizontal. Therefore there's a very limited amount of stops and area that it covers. I take it quite a bit though when I go to Williamsburg as I do every few months.

BTW, Mika doesn't get enough credit but the guy perfected the fake pass get the D-man down and go around him for an easy pass on a 2 on 1. That play should have ended the game against Florida. Exact same play. I haven't seen anyone else do it like him.
That was a beauty on the shorty. I agree he's struggled at times this year but I don't think he's been as bad as many here have said. I think he's had a lot of bad puckluck this year but hopefully that will change soon.

I love the "Honorable Mention" posts' like this is the pinewood derby.

"Yay... your'e car came in 4th! Here's you're trophy!"

Making the playoffs was the MINIMUM here

The next 3 months is what matters... nothing else
Winning the division or possibly the 1st seed in the east is not "Honorable mention". It would be an accomplishment and does matter for playoff positioning. It can still be a good season even if they aren't the last team standing. It's people like you who will bitch and moan and call them losers if they lose in the final. Enjoy your misery which the odds say is likely.

Yeah, it's just not convenient for everybody, which is why I'd like to see them eventually upgrade more relevant lines.

Still, if you live somewhere near the L valley like I do, it's like being an astronaut. I'm LES to home in 20 minutes.

I never said they were stellar tonight and I thought their puck management was awful. I am also one who doesn't expect a picasso every night especially given the circumstances. I was just pointing out the schedule has not been kind and they have done as well as can be expected this month.

You don't think anybody is going to give him credit for doing anything good do you?

The F is garbo. Sorry, but it is. There's actually analytics on this.

The L laps the field. The L is so good that it requires fewer workers to operate, and the union blocked the technology used on the L from being used on any other line.
Yeah, the F sucks. If it's warm out I prefer to Citibike from South Slope to Grand Army Plaza to catch the 2/3 trains.

What I am enjoying is a great season so far. I also understand that there are some really good teams in the league that also have a chance to win the cup. The Rangers happen to be one of them. I'm fine with that.
