Claude is running practice today so I don't expect anything to change his status will happen today. Maybe during the ASG break but I am beginning to think they will let him finish the year and then go from there.

Looks like Claude may give Hayes another shot tomorrow.

Good to see Pasta back with 37/63.

I agree, the only good part is we don't look like Florida with the Gallant debacle.....yet

Oh, I think we are enjoying our own special kind of debacle. Wouldn't surprise me at all f the Panthers are looking at what's going on in Boston thinking, "And folks thought we were a gong show."

Worst third line ever assembled and I'm not even being my general over dramatic self.

And Claude wonders why they can't score. Spooner and Czarnik must be truly hated/terrible to play behind those wings.

One thing that really struck me about that TSN radio interview with Pierre Maguire, was when why mentioned that Julien would be hired within days of being let go by the Bruins. I can't remember who said it, but it was argued that perhaps if the Bruins fired Julien they would be "doing him a favour."

I don't disagree with this, which is why I said what I did. If the Bruins are actively talking to unemployed coaches about a potential vacancy (which we've all heard they have), if I was Julien, I'd be doing the same with other organizations.

I've been pretty damn supportive of this management team AND of Julien. I didn't believe the team was bad enough to be "sellers" this year and I was as far from the opinion of "blow it up" as you can be.

But in the light of the current cowardly silence from front office, I've changed my opinion. It's no coincidence that the current losing streak comes on the heels of this controversy. And now? I'm not sure there IS an efficient fix.

I'd love to see how many other teams axe their coaches if Claude becomes available.

That lineup does not look inspiring. Spooner 4th line checking wing?

I get ticked at Spooner too, but put the kid at center where he belongs and just let him play there for a while and let him make mistakes. Then drop him if he fails during that extended period. Wing didn't work for Tyler either remember?

I'd be willing to bet he's in sunrise the next Day and Tom Rowe would return to the GM role and tallon back to team president and Claude would lead The panthers straight past the Bruins and into the playoffs

Julien's best fit is with weaker teams with low expectations, that's why he would be a great fit with the incoming Vegas team. Put him with a talented team with high expectations, well good luck, he would try and shoehorn all of the skilled forwards into defensive aces at the expense of their offense.

The fish rots from the head. Charlie Jacobs would be nervous managing a paper route. I have zero confidence in his decision making. He is Cam's puppet.

If that's true it's terrifying because I think Cam does his job about as well as an actual hand puppet could do.

Holy cow, that 3rd line is pure utter trash. No wonder we're losing all the time.

The thing is the third line has been awful all year, no matter who is placed on it. No doubt , CJ is desperate an willing to try anyone at this point. Spooner and Czarkik continue to be train wrecks in the D zone. Horrible roster this year. Would like to see Cehlarik and Debrusk at some point.

I have to consider the 4th line the 3rd and the 3rd the 4th just to keep sane.

You may not like Claude, but to say he's only suited for a weak team with low expectations is ridiculous.

Go look at a few statistics as to goals scored over past several years for Boston -- you may learn something.

Also, in case you didn't notice -- THIS is a weak team with low expectations (regardless of the foolish comments of Jacobs).:shakehead

I'm 100% convinced Sinden is still running this team. Neely has consistently said he looks to Harry for advice about matters. Neely is going nowhere. Jacobs won't get rid of him. Claude will be gone at the end of the season then they'll get a coach who they feel like can get this team to the first round of the playoffs and treadmill.

This core needed to be blown up a long time ago.

Are they not playing with urgency, or are they simply not that good?

On one hand, I've seen more fire in Bergeron the last week or so than I have all season. On the other, you have Rask pulling himself from a game because he's not feeling well.

I think it's really easy to mistake lack of skill for lack of urgency, and it's an important distinction to make.

Just to clarify, it was a migraine that Rask had.

As someone who unfortunately gets them, they do come on that quick, they are brutal and there is no playing through that if you wanted to, especially if your vision is affected.

Don't worry we can just trade Spooner to Nashville for a bucket of fried chicken and a coupon to the country rock hall of fame

Starting to think they should of grabbed Tortorella when he was available...

You wouldn't be the only one. The locker room needs someone who can light a fire and isn't afraid to put a little fear or public embarrassment into the mix.

Julien's best fit is with weaker teams with low expectations, that's why he would be a great fit with the incoming Vegas team. Put him with a talented team with high expectations, well good luck, he would try and shoehorn all of the skilled forwards into defensive aces at the expense of their offense.

Julien's best fit is with a locker room full of multi-talented 2-way veteran players with extraordinarily high hockey IQs. Until that happens, his "system" will not fit the team.

No real changes, no call ups. Yeah let's insert Hayes back in

Is Management even going to do a thing besides hide?

I thought that I heard on the radio towards the end of last week, that an announcement or address from management re: "the situation" was imminent, due after the Chicago game or today. Perhaps I mis-heard?
