The habs dive every chance they get its actually embarrassing
The NHL is supposed to be fining and embarrassing divers but MTL is getting away with it. In the 2 games it's worse than ever and the refs are encouraging it by calling penalties on the Sens instead of warning the MTL coach that they'll be penalized if they keep it up. The head of officiating is not doing his job.

I miss watching Chris ****in Neil. He's always been a playoff warrior.

I want him fore-checking and laying out big hits in Montreal's zone with a skilled player who can capitalize on the space he creates while also being quick enough to get back and defend. For some reason, I think it would be very beneficial to see him play with Lazar and/or Pageau, even if just for a short stint.

This year it's doubtful Sens will make it all the way & win the Cup. I think it's all about performing up to our young team's full potential...and using all our weapons.

If Neiler doesn't play today, then I'm afraid we will be underperforming. Leaving some of our trump cards unplayed in our hand :(

We need to have #25 in. There has been no-shows in the first two games, he deserves a spot.

One other area where Neiler could be very useful...

...going into the CBC studio and straightening out Strombo, Romanuk & those other Hab-loving commentators! Quiche, quiche...quiche quiche! That would have them shut the ****** up about Price this, and Price that, and isn't Patches just dreamy!?

I don't really want him in, but I guess taking out Chiasson for him would be ok.

Or Michalek, the man was trash in game 2.

I feel like we're not physical enough. We need to really step up and start hammering guys out there every chance we get

Habs fan here: Neil would certainly add hits (penalties too perhaps) but don't forget, you guys went on a huge winning streak without him. Why is that? I think the reason why you won so many at the end is because of your outstanding goaltending play, which you haven't had in the playoffs. Hammond cracking? I don't know. Anyhow, game three should be a doozy with or without Neil.

Well we didn't go on a winning streak because of Alex ****ing Chiasson.

I don't think Neil will play more than 10 min. But those 10 min will be very intense.
Look at Neil trying to hit everybody and go right in front of Price every time he has the chance.

I hope it bring something positive.

Guess we'll find out now. I'm not a fan.

Probably cost us a power-play goal at the least. and another five on five. He just can not keep up physically and I would assume the mental aspect will need time to come around as well.

Now if he bothers Price, that's a good thing, but he will not be allowed to do that.

Lose this game and its a miracle in a lantern solution that's left.

I think the key to this game, other than Price, is to get to Markov and throw him off his game.

Chris Neil took three minor penalties this year (mind you, he missed nearly 30 games due to injury).

Meanwhile Chiasson? Was nearly good for one a game.

And we're worried that Neil will take a bad penalty?

I agree Chiasson was not the answer either. He was more of a let down because he got more sample size to actually, including some Top 6 minutes.

I can see Chaisson moved this summer. Paul and the pick are the return from the Spezza trade that will decide how it went down. At this point Paul is already looking like a potential player.

That whole 4th line/spare group was below expectation. Greening, Legwand, Chaisson, Neil, Smith. Just taking up space. Legs did something on the PP, but not enough to balance the rest of the season.

Would have preferred a whole year with Pageau, Puempel and maybe Prince.

But Neil's boat has sailed. Loved him 5 years ago. He can't do it now.

I actually sent an email to CBC TV yesterday about this to their customer complaint department. They made me throw up in my mouth when the Habs would score .

Put Smith in for Legwand and this could be a great spark for the team.

Smith wasn't taking any draws after he returned from his wrist injury. You lose your only left shot faceoff guy if you do that.
