if arizona is going strictly prospect/young player based then knight potentially being offered up would probably be the best young player available no
Zito/Panthers insiders said that they would not be looking for a goalie at the TDL, which essentially means that Knight is going to stay as the backup, won't be moved...
And I think he may have directly stated that Knight is untouchable previously

Thats fair, not going to pretend to be an expert on the panthers

was just looking at the teams listed and who the best prospect/young player would be. Figured with arizona having 300 picks that they would probably look for quality here

I have no idea why Arizona is trying to trade Chychrun but if I'm Seattle, I'm all in on this. They could really use a stud young player to get the fanbase excited.

You are correct. The Coyotes should demand Knight and hold firm, but, at the same time, Zito is wise to decline.

Either Arizona buckles and we make out like bandits again, or Chychrun doesn't come here.

I can’t see any team other than LA getting him. They just have way too many assets both on offense and D, I don’t see how any other team could match their potential offer

- Canes probably don't have the "available" quality prospect needed to land him but man that would be one hell of an add for that roster.
- St. Lois would probably have to package Perunovich + Neighbors/Bolduc as a base to get it done, I would do it if I were them personally.
- Florida would likely need to include Knight, I could see a bigger deal here than just Chychrun going back.
- While Boston makes sense as a team with interest they just don't have the assets
- LA has both the needs, assets, and future cap space. Probably frontrunners
- Anaheim makes sense if they are loosing Lindholm but they may not have any available assets that makes them a legitimate team in the sweepstakes

- Edmonton makes sense as one of the unnamed teams, Calgary may be the last because Treliving literally kicks tires with everything
I’m Sure Necas and Jarvis would be available

Completely agree with this post.

I think you look at LA, where they're at with core pieces that range that range in age from 19 to 34, and adding a 23 year old defenceman fits right into that.

Gladly. He’s been great since he got healthy. And he’s young. His career numbers and trajectory are all excellent. He’s going to be a top defenseman for many years. Thrilled to keep him. He’s better than every one of those packages.
For those interested, he’s got 11pts in 13gp since 2/1 and is a +8. Seems like once he got his legs under him after the injury, he’s been a man on a mission.
