Poehling probably got more playing time than he ever has because of the Habs situation last year. He was underwhelming most of the season and scored a few near the end when nothing mattered and opposition didn't give a crap. I wouldn't put much stock in his play this season. The ahl is littered with guys who've scored 12-15 nhl goals. Penciling him in on the top line is a little nuts. It's no different than Byron scoring 20 before because he played top line minutes. Sure, it's great for the player and they did pretty well, but that doesn't make him a regular top line player. However, if it means getting a shot at Bedard, I'm all for Poehling on the 1st line!

He wasn't even a regular in the lineup before this year. 12 minutes is more time than he's gotten in the past I'm sure. Regardless, he's not a top 6, that's for sure.

All I could think while watching Geekie these playoffs: "Gee, maybe I WAS a little too hard on Wright!"

Geekie is NOT a top 5 pick. It's laughable to even suggest it. I wouldn't pick him top 15.
