I think everyone was okay with Juulsen. Maybe some wanted Beauvillier but they warmed up to him quickly.

Romanov was blasted by most, including myself. Guy was rated late 3rd at best. Less about the player and more about the value.
Yea I was on Team Beauvilier. Ultimately, I was ok with Juulsen. I wouldn't say he busted. Injuries took his potential away from him. Same with someone like Samuel Morin.

Now Scherbak, he busted.

Kamloops scores. Lead series 3-2.

Kueffler scores after Minten tries to stuff it in off a wrap around. He puts in rebound.

An overall good game by Korchinski & a really strong two-way game by Minten.

Game 6 is Sunday in Seattle.

Poehling probably got more playing time than he ever has because of the Habs situation last year. He was underwhelming most of the season and scored a few near the end when nothing mattered and opposition didn't give a crap. I wouldn't put much stock in his play this season. The ahl is littered with guys who've scored 12-15 nhl goals. Penciling him in on the top line is a little nuts. It's no different than Byron scoring 20 before because he played top line minutes. Sure, it's great for the player and they did pretty well, but that doesn't make him a regular top line player. However, if it means getting a shot at Bedard, I'm all for Poehling on the 1st line!
I don’t have him on a 1st line and i surely don’t have him scoring 20.

He’s a 4th line player that can move up and down the lineup and pot you 12-15 goals and 25-30pts.

He’ll kill penalties and block shots….thats where i see his game going.

Is this kid the future PP QB? Ala Markov?
No. He's not that type of playmaker.

I do like that he has become more offensively aggressive during these playoffs, and he has a really good, low, tippable slap shot.

Offensively, he's actually more comparable to Petry. I see a lot of Petry in him, except with Weber's nasty disposition on D.

Hopefully he starts in AHL next year, so that he can continue to grow the offensive part of his game.

Guhle isn’t a QB type, but he can be a bomb from the point dman if that skill continues to develop. He also is a good puck rusher.

We don’t really have that QB in the org. Perhaps Joshua Roy if we don’t mind putting a forward back there.
