If only we got the 2nd pick. Now I gotta keep trying to find ways to feel awesome about this pick because I'm really just alright about it. High floor, we get a 2C behind Suzuki who's responsible.

Gonna be tough watching Cooley put up PPG+ in a college arena.
I have faith Kent will do the right thing.

Damn it, I opened this thread thinking I'd read about Wright dominating instead I get the opposite.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of the Kingston players were just checked-out like the Habs were under Ducharme this season really. They play like it anyway.
So you're saying you can't win with Wright?

I think there might be something there...

Strange that all we keep hearing is that he has an insane work ethic, workhorse on and off the ice, insane leader...yet...this is the effort he gives?

Not talking about his future here. Not talking about anything else than a truly dissapointing effort tonight. That will be added to the rest of his efforts so far in the playoffs. It's not about points right now. It's about commitment and desire to dominate. It's nowhere near.

North Bay take a 3-1 series lead.
- Vrbetic was the back up. Looks like he may have lost his starting job.

Windsor takes a 3-1 series lead with a 6-3 win tonight.
- Sobolev with 0 pts / +2 / 2 PIM

Rimouski eliminated Saint John tonight. Thus Rimouski will face Quebec in the 2nd round.

That means that Charlottetown will face the winner of Halifax/Acadie-Bathurst.

If AB wins tomorrow, we will have Kidney vs. Simoneau & Trudeau.

I always hear on here from the "drafting experts" not to judge a player by one tournament, game or playoff series but you to judge a player by the body of work they have done.
If big mouth mcragg is worried about drafting Wright I feel very confident Wright is the Right pick

Are we going to see him play again after these playoffs before The draft or is this it?
If Kingston loses this series, they're out, and unless Team Canada adds Shane Wright to the World Championship team, which is highly unlikely, Wright's season is done.

Fronts are down 3-1, with the next game Saturday in North Bay, an elimination game.

I know context matters and McDavid played on a deeper Otters team but in McDavid's draft year he put up 49 points in 20 play off games o_O (Strome put up 34 points in 22 games which helped him go 3rd OA). Our boy Wright is at 13 points in 10 games

Kingston made it close. Game finished 4-3. They scored twice in last minute. Wright picked up an assist on a PP on the 3rd goal. Otherwise an incredible ordinary night for him.

I have been deeply unimpressed by Wright in the 2 Kingston games I have watched, but the fact that he remained over a ppg and that they somehow won a round, maybe there is something behind the hype.. I don't know. (Maybe it was some other players that carried the team).

That team is absolute hot garbage... they look as bad as the 2021-22 Ducharme Habs.

Maybe someone that watched Kingston all playoffs long could chime in.

It would be much simpler if Wright flat out dominated and was 2PPG now we're left second guessing this
