Geekie most likely just ended the series. Outstanding stretch pass from Lambos to Wheatcroft, who found a wide open Geekie.

WPG/EDM should be a great series

edit: MJ just scored, surprised as it seemed like Winnipeg had taken the wind out of their sails. But they're putting up a fight. Mateychuk with the rocket pass.

That's pretty much the Final before the Finals.

Strange that all we keep hearing is that he has an insane work ethic, workhorse on and off the ice, insane leader...yet...this is the effort he gives?

Not talking about his future here. Not talking about anything else than a truly dissapointing effort tonight. That will be added to the rest of his efforts so far in the playoffs. It's not about points right now. It's about commitment and desire to dominate. It's nowhere near.

"I believe that I'll be able to step right into the NHL and be a difference-maker. I don't want to just be a player that kind of just goes around and is OK. I want to be a really good player in the League. I want to be a difference-maker in the League, and I believe that I can be next year."

I love that last part particulary. The guy is lying from the start but the end is cherry on the cake. He is not not even a difference maker in junior, far from that actually, he is not driving the play in any ways and he thinks he can jump in the big league and be one??? LOL

There's something there. Passes are getting fumbled all game long, the defense does not provide any offense (or defense). They look so messy, it is unfair to put the blame on 1 player exclusively.
Frontnac is at the image of its captain, so inconsistent and Wright is integral part of that freak show.

The Savoie show.

Fun part is that Habs will pick Wright, and tons of people will be meh, while everybody else that will pick after will be ecstatic to get this or that player...lol

He’s playing great, seems to have recovered well from the injury in the 1st round.

Bathurst wins. Wow, Belgarde and Tourigny were huge in that PK. Tourigny such a great board work despite his stature.
Tourigny is someone that needs to be offered a contract for Laval. I like the way he plays.

Montreal
Updated the OP with the new match ups like Edmondon vs. Winnipeg in the Conference Final, as well as Charlottetown vs. Acadie-Bathurst in the 2nd round of the Q.

Prospects in action tonight:
- Vrbetic @ 7PM ET (Game 5 vs. Kingston): if North Bay wins, they win the series and move on. Vrbetic has been the back up for the last few games.
- Sobolev @ 7PM ET (Game 5 vs. Kitchener): if Windsor wins, they win the series and move on.
