Guhle and the Oil Kings make quick work of Red Deer 4-0 sweep.

Steady game for Guhle tonight, less flash in the O-zone today but overall good game. Makes an impact all over the ice.

Wow props to them for making this reasonable decision. Good to see they care about the well being of the young athletes.

I was at the game last night. Girlfriend is into hockey and came with me but wakes up at 5am on the weekdays. She wanted to leave and I said I'll pay for a cab but she stayed.

Great game. Halifax goalie kept them in and the shot count is not even close. I think buddy nodded off a few times .

Had a good chance to look at Kidney and Dumais. Not just for these two home games for Halifax either.

Kidney:
* Very good vision and hockey IQ.
* Shot is OK and he is a true center. Always aware of where his line mates are and potential danger situations in transition.
* Heavily used in ice time and important faceoffs.
* Skating is not elite but very very solid for Q standards.
* NHL potential? He's able to perform in the Q but he's got to improve skating and bulk up cause he will get out muscled with NHL men. Very curious to see how he develops from 18-21. He's off to a great start but it's a big development hill

Dumais:
* I would not draft him after seeing his game.
* Very skilled but as a small player, I don't like his skating. Skilled guys this size need to have elite level skating and I just don't see it. Can he improve it? Sure but I'd throw our draft darts on others. Maybe a late 3rd round or 4th rounder if he slips and I'd consider drafting him there.

Kidney reminds me a lot of Ribeiro.

I agree with Dumais comment. 4th round for me.

Terrible PP. Terrible period, but Kingston will start 2nd period on PP, as Armsby took a stupid roughing penalty at end of period.

Kingston has shown the ability to come back, so we'll see.

After 1 with Wright:

-has good anticipation, knows where to be on the ice
-having trouble executing his offence, turned it over a couple times
-couple nice one touch passes
-on the ice for both goals against (one was on the pk)

Surprised RDS or TVA isn’t scheduling on TV the Kingston/NB series post-lottery
They won't have much time if this keeps going. Kingston is looking bad. I heard their win on game 1 was the only one against NB this season.
