Buffalo, they hate first line centers too.Everyone you don’t like op.
Such nonsense from an insider. Who doesn’t want a young second line center

Flyers are looking to add a top-6 center themselves. The have zero depth at C, that's why they currently carry Jett Luchanko on their roster.Morgan Frost fits bill
Appears to be back in Torts doghouse and struggling to start year
What would Flyers needs be? And what is fair value from Hawks for a guy who has shown potential but still struggles with consistency?
Acquiring Frost would improve Hawks C situation and make it so we dont have to rush Nazer into role
I actually think part of the issue is Anaheim is trying to play him as a winger…. He’s much more comfortable/better at center.
As a center he has b2b 60+ point seasons(on a very terrible team) which is right on par with a 2c…. Issue is Anaheim for whatever reason refuses to play him there.
That center line up would absolutely get destroyed by other teams lol. Bunch of weak, soft defensively poor centers for your top 3 Cs.Morgan Frost fits bill

Down middle at some point this season/next year could be nice for Hawks
Its getting tired at this point your routine
Davidson just drafted Boisvert and was downright giddy he was there when Hawks drafted him. He is not trading him months after
Kirby Dach for 1st and 3rd.
Is he playing wing this year? I know he has some in the past.Post says 2C, which Dach is not.
Assets available to trade: Lukas Reichel, Kevin Korchinski
Post says 2C, which Dach is not.
Why? it's not like Dach has been a good center at any point in his career?Could have just held onto a Kirby Dach instead of trading him at 21, but what do I know.
He lacks the size/strength and commitment to play the defensive zone as a center needs to is why. No doubt with the puck on his stick he is more dangerous down the middle of the ice, but that is a fraction of time he has the puck like that. Can't rely on him the rest.
If the Hawks traded Frank Nazar (player they picked with the selection they traded Dach for) for a Kirby Dach level player tomorrow, I'd be pretty unhappy with that.Could have just held onto a Kirby Dach instead of trading him at 21, but what do I know.
So you want a 2C who can produce offensively, has size/strength, and is defensively committed? And who is young? In other words, the absolutely ideal 2nd line center?
No one's giving you that without you giving up something you really don't want to. Rebuilding teams won't, that's someone they build around. Playoff teams could use the cheap productive player too.
Based on his ice time he is, based on his numbers though, yikes...Post says 2C, which Dach is not.
Young doesn't mean 22. It can be 25/26 range or around there. Someone who can be helpful at least partially through your window.
The typical age players hits ufa is 27/28 at the earliest. So at 25/26 the team still has 2/3 more years of team control. There would have to be a legit reason to move them. Be it a cap crunch or for an upgrade in another position.Young doesn't mean 22. It can be 25/26 range or around there. Someone who can be helpful at least partially through your window.
