Hah! There are a couple more good ones in there (Carlo especially), but I chuckled. And I’m not one to bring up that draft you’re inferring. Savagely balanced post. Kudos!
I was referring to the 16 picks over the ‘15/‘16 drafts, so was counting Mcavoy and Carlo as his two hits in that span.

Love charlie but what a rip off. That agent took donny to the woodshed. I'm surprised he buckled. Charlie is solid but not at 9.5 wish it was 8.5.

Wrong take, Tkachuk's agent took the Sens to the woodshed, to pay a LW who is nowhere close to a PPG player and not good defensively 8.2 mil/year is a bad deal. McAvoy is a top 5 defenseman who plays in all situations, is arguably the best 5x5 player defenseman in the league. Be thankful that Cassidy didn't use him on the #1 PP unit until late in the year or else he may have gotten $10 mil/year.

If charlie got 10 mil that would have shut down hf boards of how ridiculous that contract would be.

Alright, I apologize. Misread the original post a little bit. If that’s your stance I’d argue Lauzon, DeBrusk are decent picks. Vladar, Steen are ok as well.

Congratulations to Keith Gretzky here lost in all this

he hit big on Pastrnak 2014 & McAvoy 2016 before going to Edmonton

Gretzky oversaw three drafts for the B's, with 2014 first-rounder David Pastrnak (No. 25 overall) currently on the NHL roster. A series of trades left Gretzky with 16 picks over the 2015 and '16 drafts, nine of those in Rounds One or Two.

Why am I sucking my teeth here?
