Seriously, mild kneecap fractures where the bone doesn't fully break apart can be fine in a few days. When you break the thing into lots of small pieces it takes longer, but I guess he didn't do that.

Could have also just been initial speculation that got reported and nobody really knew more to update (or Checkers kept it hush hush). Great to see him back though, he's been pivotal in the playoffs so far.
