sooooo much tentative puck handling by the Checkers in their own zone
It's been a theme against Chicago...it's the reason the puck was in our zone for almost 3 min the other night, we were so tentative on every chance to clear that we never did.

Also, this ice is dog****

Also, we need to take advantage of the lack of penalties being called and start turning holds/obstruction/interference into odd man rushes like Chicago seems to be excelling at...they're generating several deadly 3 on 2s and 2 on 1s that way (combined with their more veteran roster and some hella acceleration/speed out of their guys)

Really wish one of the local Charlotte stations like WCCB or WAXN would pick up the rest of this series. I mean come on, are people really watching reruns of Big Bang Theory?

It really shouldn’t be that hard. Mike Solarte from Spectrum is certainly tweeting about game action, and a few years ago, either Spectrum or Time Warner did air a game or 2 on some idle channels. Too much to ask I guess.

Before Spectrum bought TWC they aired about 4-5 home games, usually in January when crowds were at their peak, on some local event channel in both Charlotte and Raleigh, like channel 1514 or something. Did the same for home playoff games. We had a GDT or two during them, was fun. Not sure why they're not doing that anymore. I get AHL.tv streams games but airing on local TV would draw more eyeballs and interest in the team. The Knights get select home games on WCCB, no reason the Checkers can't do the same for the Calder Cup Finals.
