2nd/3rd/7th for 30 games of Jarnkrok?
Seller's market.
3 goals in 63 playoff games is a lot bigger than the team. Plenty of lesser players were able to have success when he didn’t. There’s no shame in admitting he’s a ghost in the playoffs. You can say the same on a lot of players on teams that had no playoff success
Very unlikely. Probably replaces Lewis on the Backlund - Coleman line
He hasn't played a full time center role in 5 years thoughWe’ll see.
I think this was a clear message in having a legit 3C.
He is a bottom 6 depth player….I don’t think their whole playoff depends on him figuring it out. They just need him to be better than some of their bottom 6 players and he is.3 goals in 63 playoff games is a lot bigger than the team. Sure I guess it’s possible he figures it out….. at 30

Lucic still not sit. He's one of the team's top hitters. It will be Dube, Lewis, Ruzicka, and Monahan getting less time.Calgary
Calgary's lines for tonights game without Jarnkrok are:
Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk
Coleman-Backlund-Lewis
Mangiapane-Ruzicka-Toffoli
Lucic-Monahan-Dube
Richardson-Ritchie
He displaces Lewis on the second line if we're talking from a skill POV.
Positionally, Lucic sits out.
Either way that's a pretty formidable forward group.
If you just want a guy that can PK and give you solid minutes without killing you then they will be happy. He's a good player in the regular season but when things get tighter and more physical he just doesn't have the game for it. He's good stable filler. He is a bottom 6 depth player….I don’t think their whole playoff depends on him figuring it out. They just need him to be better than some of their bottom 6 players and he is.
Maybe Paul. Tierney and Eakin are not the same levelSome of the prices being paid right now to me are downright shocking.
Half of the Eastern conference are clear sellers... they all have pieces to move... would whomever was interested in Jarnkrok not also be interested in Nick Paul, Chris Tierney, or Cody Eakin?
The deal they're intended to break is the waiver pick another team might have got that you wanted. 7's have value, and that's why they're included.I always wonder with deals like this how giving up a 7th gets included. Is Seattle so hard up that the 7th would be a deal breaker?
Definitely not at faceoffsWould still be better than the ghost of Sean Monahan.
They can but the dman has to come in at under 1M, its as simple as the cap space comes directly from needing to send a player down due to roster limitWonder if there's any way they can trade for a defenceman.
He's good at faceoffs but bad at playing center... Maybe better to play the better center who loses 1 more faceoff every 25 faceoffs.Probably because Monahan is very good at faceoffs, whereas Dube and Jarnkrok are rather subpar to mediocre at best. He's not going to be moved to the wing simply because of this
