You do realize that the average life expectancy in Canada is 80 yrs old right? Generation x/yers are around 40-50 years old now. So your still going to have to wait for another 30-40 years before your comment takes place, and by then you'll be "old" and I think that you may be confused to the definition of xenophobic.

great point, that comment is a laugher. did not realize people in their teens /20's have found the fountain of youth. In 20 years a 27 yr old will be almost 50. you think he's still going to be rocking new era caps like he's the 2nd coming of vanilla ice. Tons of CFL fans today were not even into the CFL 20 yrs ago and were more about the NHL only. Its a league you grow into. You are going to look like a tool trying to be a hip raptors fan when u are 50. You will be like that old dude at the club dancing in the corner.

The CFl is tremendous entertainment. When is the last time a Grey Cup game wasn't great?

That 89' Grey cup game between Hamilton and Saskatchewan is the greatest football game ever played imo.

Absolutely. Should be a good one, looking forward to it. Shame it's not starting earlier though.

Agreed. Mcgill stadium is just fantastic for the CFL. It's too bad, The Argos were going to join TFC in the stadium by the EX but got a sweetheart deal with Rogers and stayed in the Rogers Centre. It feels so dead in there when it's half filled.

I'm glad the Argos don't play where TFC does. A football team would absolutely massacre the grass at BMO. It's why I think the Jays would have to wait for the Argos to be out of Rogers Centre before they can get grass. Having said that, I would love for the Argos to be out of Rogers Centre and in their own home.

So where can you stream the grey cup game online?! Looking for a site like atdhe.net (doesn't exist anymore)....

itll be on tsn, tsn online streaming, espn3 and nbc sports network

also atdhenet is not dead

Will it be streamed free on TSN.ca (or even for pay)?

I was able to get the West division final last week, but the site I use didn't have the East division final.

I will probably watch the game at my parents house anyways. They got the digital box and the HD and all that.

There riots outside the Royal York, as Stampeders fans have shown up trying to get a horse through the front doors.

It appears they are upset as the Royal York can not accomodate horses, you know, it being 2012 and all.

Pretty hilarious.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS..........

The CFL is a bit of a joke because of its sheer lack of size...size does matter. But as far as entertainment value...I agree. The Grey Cup > The SuperBowl.

The Superbowl is the biggest single sporting event in the world I believe and the hype around it is unbelievable. The game itself is quite often a big BORE.....The Grey Cup on the other hand is usually a high scoring exciting affair, with plenty of history and some great great games.

8 teams is a little low, but considering you only play 18 games you only play each team 2-3 teams at most its not that bad but i think 10 teams would be the ideal number of teams in the league.

ottawa coming back is 9, hopefully an additional team joins some time soon.

take the nfl, 30 odd teams but only 16 games, means you only play certain teams 1nce every 3 years

Yes maybe...but I have seen my share of stinkers too. Blowouts done by half time. You don't see as many in the CFL for some reason. Best Superbowl in recent memory for me is the Giants win over the Patriots. That was a great game with a great result

My Steelers have been in a few good ones.

I think with CFL there is much more time to come back if down because of the 3 downs and the clock stoppages.

I'm expecting Sunday's game to be a good one.

Hey it was the freaking awards tonight.

Where's all the big CCFL fans posting. Had the first TOR v CGY battle of the weekend with Chad Owens of The Argo taking the trophy for Most Outstanding Player, and Jon Cornish taking home the Most Outstanding Canadian award.

Actually am getting a little excited about this.

Yup, the one who gets hit on by the sweet young thing around last call. Only to be left holding the 4th drink he's bought her while she "goes to the bathroom" and sneaks out the back door.

I have it on in the background while listening to some music. Much better game than I thought. The production value is great too.

Nice seeing the Dome so full for football.

Don't know the official numbers but they were saying in the radio today that the pre-game ticket sales would set a CIS attendance record. That is not counting walk-up sales tonight.

Scalpers who need something to do with the Leafs locked out?

Seriously though, you see alot more "gutsy" play calls in college/university ball than you do at the higher levels.
