Too bad the city doesn't care. The CFL is exciting football. That was a great game.

I love CFL football. People will disagree but it's how I feel, I find the NFL boring because there's more of a run game, the last few minutes a team with the lead can run the clock with ease, so many more commercials it seems.

I don't know, somethin about the CFL makes it so exciting for me. I mean some of the sequences that happen in the CFL is insane.

I hate that it appears the receivers are off-side on every play. That is my biggest issue with the league. I cheer hard for all Toronto teams so I am very happy with this win.

I did not think we had a CFL thread and now I see this one was started at 3:00 by a Lions fan. LOL. We suck as football fans.

I was thinking about making one a few weeks ago, but figured no one would post in it because I didn't see anyone talking about the Argos.. Like at all.

I only watch 2-3 games a year usually the Labour Day Classic if I can find someone to drink with... Maybe thanksgiving and the Grey Cup.

I would watch it more if more people I knew did. I used to watch with my Dad a fair bit. He always preferred CFL to NFL.

Mostly because he had seen the glory days of the CFL, when pure beasts were on the field.
Just think of the Capp/Moska fight last year? Those two are geriatric by now and they STILL hate each other.

I had come in here looking for one as well and I figured since one didn't exist it probably meant no one would bother posting in it.

Looking like CGY might be the opponents for the Grey Cup.

Good. Should be a party. I might even venture down there.

 I thought it was just me...but yeah it is exciting wide open football. No lead is safe in the CFL. That was a nail biter and should have gone to OT. Not sure why the Montreal receiver dropped the ball. Looked like it hit him in the numbers. Argo defender waiving at the ball perhaps distracted him. Was a great game and the only Argo (CFL) game I watched all year. Congrats to Argos. The Grey Cup should be fantastic.

those are canadian football rules, you are allowed to be in motion prior to the snap, just cant cross the line till the ball is in motion
anyone who has played high school football in canada should know that.

I'm HYPED, a Toronto team, in the FINALS!
Woot.

The fact is I do know you are allowed to be in motion but it is hard to time it perfectly with the snap and it looks like they are often over the line.

The last time the Argos won the Grey Cup was 2004 during the 2004-2005 NHL lockout. So it's funny that they are going back to their first Grey Cup since then during another NHL lockout.

That's what I thought as well. I think it probably obstructed his view and prevented him from setting up for the catch properly. you could see that he was expecting the ball to be much lower than where it actually landed.
