I have one question. With all those stars on Miami, how the f*** did we win this game?
The main issue with Miami is the injuries caused an imbalance in the composition of the team. While we have an incredible amount of offensive talent, we have too many players who don't care about getting the ball back and who like to slow down the pace.

Montreal did very well in not making it a back and forth game for most of it. But not playing against Messi truly helped.

Miami still a top roster even without Messi, so this win is nothing to scoff at.

Also, my man Waterman is becoming one of the best CBs in the league before our eyes.

The way Courtois has been utilizing the options Renard got him has been nothing short of brilliant. Edwards, Ibrahim and Martinez were really good coming off the bench today .Pretty much every sub he's made since the season started has been a positive one. Putting the depth to good use is going to be key .

To be fair, we've been lucky as opposing teams have been missing key players every game. But even then, it's probably the case for the whole league and MTL is starting on the road. Same record as the champs Columbus, but they played 2 games at home. Amazing start under Courtois.

True, but getting the job done on a long season opening road stint is still very impressive.

I agree with your comment about Waterman. I went from not wanting him on the NT to I know he's the main man in the CB position for the NT.

Man, you can really tell that Inter Miami has become the darling of MLS. They got 9 minutes of extra time. Why because Messi. Then I go check the MLS standings. Montreal has 7 points on 3 GP. Miami has 7 points on 4 GP. Montreal beat Miami but somehow they put Miami in 1st place and Montreal in 2nd. Why? Because Messi.

To be fair, LA Galaxy too got 9 min. at home today against Nashville.

And Miami has a +6 GD which is the tie breaker.

There is no conspiracy here. Everything is square and fair.

Another Big W, as I said last week, this was THE opportunity to gain the utmost respect. Everyone just looks so solid. Alvarez scored a memorable goal, he outjumped everyone. Personally, I think its time to bench Duke. He is the weakest link so far. Start Wanyama in a more advanced role for 1 game. He’ll thrive

8 Ballons d'Or wins in this picture

Mathieu: (thought bubble) I can't believe I'm having my picture taken next to Messi.
Messi: (thought bubble) I can't believe I'm taking this picture with this kid who is so excited his nipples are rock-hard.

P.S. I lied. These are Messi true thoughts: No puedo creer que este niño esté tan emocionado que sus pezones están duros como una roca.
