Received a couple solid offers already and wanted to give a little FYI.

I won't be responding to any of the offers on Yahoo right away (unless it's an instant reject haha).

Just made this decision today so I wanna give myself a couple days to see what comes in and what direction I might want to go with multiple moves.

So don't pull your offer if I don't respond in a couple hours. I see it and I'm considering it. And I'll likely reach out by DM over the weekend if I wanna talk about potential counters etc.

And I will give you my absolute word that if you offer for someone (lets say JT Miller) and he gets injured for the season on Saturday night, I will 100000% not rush to Yahoo and accept the outstanding offer. I absolutely promise haha so don't stress over pulling offers before games start if you were concerned about a shady move like that.
 
Trade:
Caufield + Laine for Demko and Bennett.

It’s really hard to find the goaltenders, I’m taking a gamble that he will become one of the best again.
 
I was just revisiting my trade with Vanilla and I am amused that there is little difference in the stats of Blackwood and Elvis since the trade. The only two stats that stick out are GAA and shots
 
Who the hell is this scrub I'm playing this week? Their team emits an odor that offends me.

Both young players, definitely a positional trade.
My defence is pretty stacked
 
And just a reminder of a rule change a few years ago. Any rookies picked up AFTER the deadline are not eligible to be keepers in the fall.

Strange I was able to make one earlier but when I went back to do it--NOPE. SO yeah, someone hit the wrong switch or something. I am open for more trades as usual

Thanks for the heads up. We haven't adjusted the date based on our CBA.

From the CBA:
If the NHL trade deadline falls on a day other than Wednesday/Thursday, then the Yahoo trade deadline shall be set on the first Thursday following the NHL trade deadline. If the NHL trade deadline falls on a Wednesday/Thursday, then the Yahoo league trade deadline will be set for Thursday of the following week.

Since the NHL trade deadline is on Friday March 7th, the trade deadline will be set the following week. Based on Yahoo's available dates, it would be Wednesday, March 12th 11:59pm PST

If anyone is looking for good rookies next year hit me up. Would consider moving one of my 4 for a playoff boost (I.e. a better player, not trading a rookie for a worse non-rookie).
 
Well I was starting to hold off on those rebuild plans I laid out a few weeks back because I decided I wanted to make the playoffs but it looks like this week could be the nail in my coffin. If that's the case, I'll once again by open to offers for my non-keepers. Especially on the goalie front, could move one or two or all of Ersson, Anderson and Swayman.
 
Like all last place teams I am selling. However I am pretty sure my keepers are locked in and any offer for them will be a good pick.

Barkov is available for a good pick
 
Pretty much everyone on my team is available for draft picks (or a keeper upgrade if you want multiple solid vets in exchange for a young borderline keeper to boost your playoff chances).

Only true untouchable is Kaprizov, I'd say, but Shesterkin will be hard to get as well. Hoping to trade 2 of Swayman/Anderson/Ersson
