You can sign 3xU22 player with a "DP contract" without the DP tag. So basically you can have 6 DP players if you do things right and they only cost 150k on the cap each

Eh, dunno. I think it helps teams with deep pockets more than anything, like Atlanta. Thiago Almada wouldn't have a DP tag right now
Yet we could still use the rule anyway to reduce one player's cap hit like they did before with a DP tag on some players that didn't need one

The team did exploit the U22 initiative, cause it really made players cheap on the cap. Sunusi and Thorkelsson were signed this way I believe. Miljevic too but I could be wrong.
