Bad move by the Gloucester Rangers .... bad management again and again

Impressive debut for the two new Grads tonight in Cornwall.....Cumberland came up short (4-3) but are showing signs that they are responding to the new coaching regime....

The Grads looked good and the Colts were fortunate. It did not look like the # 3 team playing the # 11 team.

The Grads have some good young talent but it will be tough for them to win a lot this year. Right now they are all excited with a new coach, the real test will come if they do not start to pick up a few wins.

This league is divided in 2. Top 6 teams, bottom 6 teams.... move some of the players you mention to bottom 6 teams and you wouldn't have them on your list

Not sure I understand what you're saying. These players are the reason why those teams are in the top 6, that's why people think they deserve these awards. You can't expect to win many awards if your team is in 10th place. Andy Sturtz, Stephen Baylis, Robert Michel, Marly Quince, and Neil Doef are the reasons why their respective teams are winning. If one or two of them would play for a team like Gloucester or Kemptville, both these teams would be near the top. That's how good these players are.

If you want to win some hardware in this league, find a way to bring your team near the top. If you can't, you will not be considered an elite player. A player who gets a lot of points on a weak team is not impressive to me. Gloucester is the perfect example. Lots of offense, but no commitment to defense. Not one complete player on this team. That's why they keep losing this year, even if there's decent talent on the team.

It is interesting. Put either goalie from CPC on Gloucester or Cumberland today and I doubt they would have them same success. Conversely, put any of the starting goalies from the other 11 teams on CPC, they would be the leaders too.

I could agree with that. Goalies are in a different category. A lot of time, they do depend on what's in front of them.

Galasso is Probably is playing his 1 Jr B game in order to play as a 21 year old next season. Most CCHL teams who have 20 year olds in this situation like their players to play in a jr b game before Dec 1st cut down date.

I would normally agree with you and that was my first thought also. But when I saw he did not play last night for Kemptville I thought maybe something was up

Lol, if you were at game you would realize he played less than five seconds today. It was obviously a game to qualify for next season.

What is up with Nepean, is PG giving up, it looks that way.

At the beginning of the season one of the Nepean parents commented that the Raiders looked like a AAA Major Midget team. They may be right.

12 losses in the last 15 games would get most coaches fired. However, Peter is a survivor and a valued member of the Raiders family. Hopefully, he turns it around. He certainly has a big task ahead of him.

What is the rule for 21 years olds that played Major Junior in their career??…Can they play Jr. B as a 21 year old?

Looks like Nepeans G Daniel Urbani was released from the team. Do they bring Hertz up now?

Urbani released? Marotte, the other goalie they brought in is 1-8 in his last 9 starts. Hertz is now listed as AP and 1-2-1 at Winchester. Unfortunately the situation looks pretty tough. Wouldn't trying Urbani have been a better alternative? The meltdown at Cornwall for Marotte looked pretty bad. I hope PG can salvage the season, but he may have to start the rebuild.
