Nothing bad. He's 19 year now. In 2025 will be 22 year old.Probably work out ok for us.

Yeah... not in there. I questioned that. Granted he didn't have a great start but if you look at his body or work and back 2/3 of the year, he was Wisconsin's best player as a Freshman. RH D too. Looks like a middle pair guy at worst and still plenty of room to grow.Ceulemans?

I am in no way suggesting Ceulemans = Makar but statistically compared:I recently talked for a couple of minutes with someone who has forgotten more about hockey than I’ll ever know. He was pretty impressed with Ceulemans last year.
Makar has elite skating, Corson does not.I am in no way suggesting Ceulemans = Makar but statistically compared:
Makar:
17 year old year at Brooks in AJHL: 54 games, 10 goals, 55 points
19 year old Freshman at UMass: 34 games, 5 goals, 21 points
Ceulemans:
16 year old year at Brooks in AJHL: 44 games, 5 goals, 35 points
18 year old Freshman at Wisky: 34 games, 7 goals, 22 points
*Ceulemans had a very shortened 17 year old year in AJHL because of pandemic but convinced his numbers could have been close to Makar's. He had 3 goals and 7 points in just 6 games.
OHL preseason starts Friday. Del Bel Belluz and the Steelheads play Guelph at 7.
And conditioning. Lots of speculation he burnt out at the end of last year and his play tailed off quite a bitIt will be interesting to see where his skating is at. He could raise his stock substantially.
No idea. In 2019, prior to the last pre-covid prospect tourney, they only had medical testing and on-ice practice on the day before Traverse City. I believe in the past two years they've held dev camp in September right before the tournament which makes me suspect that there won't be a 3-5 day pre-camp this time around. If I had to guess anything, I would imagine they will have one session at Chiller North/Ice Haus on Sep 14th since their first game in TC will be on the next day.Any ideaa when pre-Traverse City camp is? I seem to remember it usually being Labor Day weekend.
Welcome back! For an AHL team, that would be way above-average. Let the young Russians snipe and force the big club to integrate them into the NHL lineup.
I haven't posted in years, just having a spot of fun with this one. Take care folks, going to be a fun season!
No idea on camp but am I the only one who completely missed the Traverse City dates and games being announced by the Red Wings? CBJ starts the thing at 3 pm on Thursday Sep 15th (soon!). Wings games being streamed like last year, let's hope we get the streams for the rest too.
