My top 10 is a little different, but I'm not going to pretend to be a better judge of prospects than Macster.
1. Ryan Murray
2. Boone Jenner
3. Alexander Wennberg
4. Tim Erixon
5. Kerby Rychel
6. Marko Dano
7. Anton Forsberg
8. Oscar Dansk
9. Cody Goloubef
10. Dillon Heatherington

Golobef has shown he can play at the NHL level. Same with Erixon, but I think Wennberg has bigger upside. I've always been a big fan of Forsberg. Dano has boom or bust written all over him.

Offensively Dano could be boom or bust. I think we could get anywhere from Calvert to Oshie out of him. With the style he plays he could always be an energy guy at the lowest. In all honesty i think he can have as big of an impact on our future as Rychel will. I love having Heatherington in our prospect pool. I really think someone like him was really the last peice stylistically to round out our D group

Stevo61: This line intrigues me.. is it because you don't like Rychel as much, or you think they both may end up in Calvert's role as an agitator, high energy guys? I see Rychel and I see a young Roenick or Tkachuk: I thought that even more as I read other teams scouting reports on Kerby. Clear distinction between top 6 - front of the net power forward.. and a pesky agitator in my mind.

Not at all, I'm very high on Rychel. I just really believe Dano is underrated just because people arent really familiar with him and his ability. Ever since the pick ive been watching countless videos and reports and i really do believe he is gonna be more then a 3rd line agitator and more likely a top 6 pest with skill. I guess Marchand is another comparable (although i hope Dano whines and dives less). I belive a 3rd line Calvert type is Dano's low end meaning he'll be a player either way but i see him being more

EDIT: Also he played limited minutes in the KHL so im hoping he decides to play in the AHL this year and have a bigger role while getting adjusted to the NA game. hes built really solid but scouts worried about his strength and at the combine shed those fears. 5'11" 214lbs... I think he'll adjust alright. One problem i have is he is a big competitor and he can take some cheap shots when he gets mad, hope he cleans that up.
As for Rychel i could see him being a responsible 30-30 guy. Time will tell for both of them

You will soon see Moutrey on the top 10 list. Watch and see, time will tell.

I saw Moutrey as the Josh Anderson pick part 2.

Or Seth Ambroz and feel he has more to give on the offensive side and its just wait and see if he develops it. Could be like i say another Ambroz or a Jenner and really surprise some people. It was deffinetly a really good pick from everything ive read on the kid and a lot of people were shocked he was there. Have only seen a couple highlights so i cant judge too much myself

I read he isn't much of an offensive player, more gritty in your face. 3rd liner of the future or more?

Don't look into much on what you read. Moutrey has a lot of skill and offensive abilities. His junior coach Greg Gilbert who won three Stanley cups, quoted he has one of the best shots in the league. Other hockey people have also said if he was given first line opportunities and first line power play time like Rychel was given, he would have produced the same numbers. Sources say the Blue Jackets were impressed with his size, skill and skating at the development camp. Watch what he does with the Saginaw Spirit this upcoming year, when he is given a leadership role and many opportunities to show his offensive skill. He will end up being a steal in the 4th round. TIME WILL TELL, SIT BACK AND ENJOY HIS PROGRESS!

so @CBJProspects just posted his top 20 list

http://www.theunionblue.com/2013/08/15/my-top-20-cbj-prospects/

pretty much right on with my personal list, but I have dansk and forsberg switched as well as savard and curcurruto

I cant really scoff at anything there.

Our prospect list is pretty wide open after the top 5 or 6

Clearly our best prospect with the highest potential
Ryan Murray

All of these guys have have top 6 potential and 3rd line capabilities even if they don't reach their potential
Boone Jenner
Alexander Wennberg
Kerby Rychel
Marko Dano

Just about everyone from here until 15 could be put just about anywhere all have very good potentials, but some are further along than others, some are just stuck in bad positions (Dansk, Savard) and some have yet been given a chance to prove themselves.
Oscar Dansk
Jonathan Audy-Marchessault
Anton Forsberg
Cody Goloubef
Joonas Korpisalo
Mike Reilly
Micheal Chaput
David Savard
Daniel Zaar
Dillon Heatherington

Only letting in one goal sounds great, but how did he look overall?

I'm less sure about Dano. On one hand, he has been playing against men as a boy, which is a good sign. But I don't think you draft for the third line in the first round, it's top six or nothing. If a guy ends up a third liner you don't complain because you got something out of it, but swing for the fences.
