I don’t think we were terrible. We weren’t good, but I’ve seen a lot worse.
The Bruins are the definition of a well-coached team with good leadership. I should say franchise, because they’re like this every year. Outside of their top line their team is nothing to write home about. They consistently get more out of their guys.
The Rangers have too many passengers right now. Fox was amazing and Schneider played with confidence, but Trouba and Jones were brutal. Jones is probably going to be in Hartford soon.
I don’t have the same disdain for fourth liners at a lot of folks do here. They are what they are. Carpenter is the worst fourth liner we’ve had in a looong time though. I can tolerate mediocrity, but he doesn’t do a single thing well. Even Glass fought and hit.
Blais is 1-2 games away from being a healthy scratch too. He’s playing to not get hurt, and it’s obvious to anyone watching. That trade by Drury might be the worst in a decade - I was never sold on Buch but he had 5x more value than we got.
