It might not define our season, but there's no defending the lack of effort for half the game.

It was absolutely brutal and you can just see how much better coached the Bruins are. That said it was uncharacteristically bad in terms of carrying play.

Trouba's not clearing the crease on that goal blew the game open and it was all downhill from there. Him and Kreider need to figure it out stat.

Kreider has been useless. Not the only guy by any means, but your 1LW can't be as useless as he's been. Need a new look with Mika and KK.

The problem is last time we had a statement game we rose to the occasion and played the Avs evenly, that's what I was expecting at home. Not sure why they suck so much at home this year.

Kreider needs to go the 3rd line for the foreseeable future.

Trouba is a f***ing train wreck out there. He is legit a bad car accident over and over again.

Those two are our biggest problems.

Lafreniere and Kakko need to shoot more.

The whole team is overpassing looking for the perfect sequence to score.

This is the PP’s problem too.

Team still refuses to score dirty goals. It wasn't a Strome issue, it's a team issue.

I know he's young, but can somebody just tell me where the cutoff point on that is? He's not improving. He's below average defensively and murders our offense like he's in a Cannibal Corpse song. He throws a big hit here and there and is a good fighter. I don't want Erik Gudbranson on this team.

I cannot say its all coaching. The leaders of this team have been downright bad. You cannot win games when Trouba looks like he is disinterested in playing strong defense or Kreider who may or may not even be on the ice most nights. Those two have been so painstakingly bad.

Laf has absolutely zero chemistry with Trocheck and Panarin. Back to LW3 he should go! Too bad EdJo's boy can't fill the top-6 role. I mean maybe he can, but he may bump into a referee and be out for several games.


But at this point, I'd honestly rather see that big oaf Gauthier with Panarin and Trocheck than Laf.

Statement games are overrated.

They make fans feel better about themselves if you win but the only games that matter are still the ones at the end.

Don't get me wrong, a dominant win against a good team is fun, but I wouldn't take this loss particularly hard.

Boston is a really good team, the best one we’ve seen yet. The 2nd period was excellent but playing with 4-5 D the entire game caught up to them. Couple meh goals given up by Igor. Trouba & Kreider get your shit together
