was a brilliant play by stammer. lowers than chance for PP lethality. didn't like it but masterful move.

"Normal playoff hockey " is such a ridiculous cop out . Call the game the way its supposed to be called and be consistent. Don't call a fantom hook to the hands, and then not call a blatant instigator trying to get the best player on the ice, OFF the ice , then say " well, it's playoff hockey" it's embarrassing

I loved Paille. Beast on the forecheck. Wish his hands had been up to to the task, but even without that, the speed he provided in a supporting role was crucial in making the Merlot line one of the best 4th lines in the league during his time with the Bruins.

If Knies is no more than this, he's a useful roleplayer. The Bruins don't win the Cup without Paille. there's plenty of room to hope for a better career for Knies, but if Paille is what he is right now, that's a valuable piece of a championship puzzle.

If Nylander and Knies connected in OT then it would be Nylander by a mile (This doesn't mean Nylander was amazing, most of our forwards sucked all game).

We need more from marner-matthews 5v5. The points are nice but they're meh. If they were less meh, I don't see Tampa winning another game.

The reason we haven’t won a playoff round with this core is because they don’t handle pressure well. Without Marner and Matthews stepping it up, we’re done. And Tampa knows how to rattle them. O’Reilly and players like him know how to win in the playoffs and play better when the pressure is on. Willy made some good plays but also didn‘t backcheck hard enough at times. Watch how hard all the Tampa players play all game. Sure they make mistakes. All players do. But their effort never wanes. That’s how hard all the Leafs need to play for 60 minutes.

Lightning talking up a big postgame about process over results and how they like how they’re playing and their chances if they keep going like this. Even though they fell down behind 1-0, 2-1. Blew a late third lead and couldn’t close it out.

Leafs need to elevate and blow them out of the water in Game 4. Prove to them their best isn’t good enough.

Does a gambling magnate sponsor your minor hockey league? Thought not. NHL refereeing bias is just in-your-face blatant right now; coincides with signing up the new pro league major sponsors.

Exactly. Adding gambling revenue just makes this league more of a joke.

Imagine a league where manipulating refs and refs allowing themselves to be manipulated, is the norm

Dr orders a full team effort. 5-2 W would be nice to have in pocket. They need to dominate them and rough them up again.

I hope ROR is putting them into a business mindset for Game 4. We’re not playing for a split here.
